At Ok Psychiatric Hospital, Gang Tae was examining the family portrait on his desk. A family of four posed for a picture with Sang Tae clutching Moon Tae's hand in the Serengeti National Park. They were wearing the Dino t-shirt and were smiling widely for the camera. Moon Tae is currently eight years old. Time goes by so quickly! Gang Tae looked at the family portrait and smiled. "You're still looking at the photo? Did you not invite me to join you for lunch? "I brought pizza for us," Jae Su said to Gang Tae. "Gang Tae put the photo back on his desk.
A teenage girl named Go Eun was talking to Gang Tae about her feelings during a therapy session. She opened her bag and pulled out a book. It was The Boy Who Fed on Nightmares by Ko Mun Yeong. The book bearing Mun Yeong’s autograph startled Gang Tae. "Remember me? I was saved from my father at the hospital by you. Go Eun grinned as she spoke. "Since that day, I've been wondering how you've been." Gang Tae smiled as he spoke to Go Eun. Since my father's death, I've been living with my mother and stepfather. I've been receiving treatment for my trauma for all these years. I survived the worst time in my life.
"Are you interested in meeting the author of this book?" Go Eun is asked by Gang Tae. "Are you acquainted with her?" Surprised, Go Eun asked. Gang Tae said, "Of course I do, she is my wife," gesturing to the family portrait on his desk. Exclaiming, "Writer Ko is so beautiful like a doll," Go Eun grabbed the photo frame from the desk. I hope to write like her when I'm older. As she spoke, Go Eun smiled widely. With a smile, Gang Tae said to Go Eun, "It was great to meet you again after all these years knowing that you had grown up well,"
Gang Tae was picked up from work at Ok Psychiatric Hospital by Mun Yeong. "Mun Yeong! There is a special visitor at my hospital today. Remember her? Gang Tae brings Go Eun before Mun Yeong. Mun Yeong initially looked confused, but as soon as she saw the book in her palm, she recognised her. "You're Go Eun?" Mun Yeong stated curiously. Writer Ko, yes. My life was saved by you. As she spoke, Go Eun smiled. Mun Yeong gave Go Eun a hug. "I'm happy you had a good upbringing." Mun Yeong gave a gentle smile.
Every day after supper, Mun Yeong would read Moon Tae a story from a fairy tale. Gang Tae walked to the bedroom of Moon Tae and watched with affection as Mun Yeong read to him. Mun Yeong followed Gang Tae to their bedroom once Moon Tae had fallen asleep. Under the covers, Gang Tae and Mun Yeong engaged in small discussion about what had happened today. "Go Eun is right about my wife being persistent like a bulldozer and pretty like a doll," Gang Tae told Mun Yeong. Mun Yeong glared at Gang Tae and struck him in the chest. Mun Yeong is instantly calmed by Gang Tae, who says, "But I love my bulldozer princess." Gang Tae kissed Mun Yeong on the lips.
"You will represent Korea in the Best Children's Literature Nobel Award, Mun Yeong." Mun Yeong receives the good news from Sang In. "All right, so when will we leave to pick up the prize?" Sang In was asked by Mun Yeong. "I'll arrange for you and Gang Tae to take a plane to London." Mun Yeong heard Sang In say. "I understand that writing your next book must be exhausting and stressful for you." Sang In smiled as he spoke to Mun Yeong. "All right." Mun Yeong grinned as she hung up the phone.
Mun Yeong and Gang Tae were sat in the business class section of the aircraft. Gang Tae was using his earphone to watch films while Mun Yeong was occupied typing on her laptop. He became aware that Mun Yeong had dozed off when he heard the keyboard's tapping halt. He adjusted her seat, closed her laptop, and covered her with a blanket. He was served by an air hostess who asked whether he would like a cup of tea or coffee. Later, I'll have it. Thank you. Gang Tae gave the air stewardess a courteous grin.
When Mun Yeong awoke, she noticed that Gang Tae was gone. She glanced around, and Mun Yeong was taken aback when Gang Tae brought her food back to his seat. "Where have you gone?" Gang Tae was asked by Mun Yeong. "I went to get breakfast for you." Gang Tae grinned as he spoke. Mun Yeong encircled Gang Tae with her arms. "I'm grateful." Mun Yeong grinned as she spoke. "I now understand why Sang In sent me on this journey with you." Gang Tae gave Mun Yeong a tender grin.
After leaving their bags at the hotel, the couple prepares to drive to the location of the award ceremony. Gang Tae wore his dazzling tuxedo, while Mun Yeong chose a stunning white designer outfit. As they entered the ballroom hand in hand, the couple's stunning appearance made them the centre of attention for the whole prize-giving ceremony. Gang Tae was thrilled to be attending this kind of event for the first time. When Mun Yeong was asked to speak onstage, she did it with ease and in fluent English. Gang Tae took pride in his wife's accomplishment.
When Mun Yeong accepted the Nobel Prize for Outstanding Children's Literature onstage, she thanked her loved ones on national television. I would like to express my gratitude to Moon Gang Tae, my husband, for arriving today. I'm grateful that you showed me the value of affection, warmth, and love when I was an emotionless zombie. Gang Tae clapped for Mun Yeong, his eyes wet and his face smiling.
