Handsome Suit

Compared to the 2006 korean hit 200 Pounds Beauty, this one is way more funnier and entertaining. It has a lighter theme to it and more comedy: at least there's no nip and tuck involved.

In this Japanese male counterpart Handsome Suit, a porky diner owner is "transformed" into a glamorous fashion model. He first begins to lead a double life: one as his mundane, ugly and low self-esteem diner owner, and the other a charismatic model, who's gaining popularity.

Towards the end of the show, he's forced to make a decision between which life he wants to live out. Ultimately he finds happiness and true beauty by learning to accept and love himself. Highly recommended!
