Although Hotaru works for a famous interior design company, her private life is a total opposite of her glamorous job glamorous. She lives alone, and when she isn't working she spends most of her time lazing about her rented house in training wear. She has little interest in men, or anything else as a matter of fact.Her motto is "I'd rather lay around than fool around". As it turns out one fine day, her landlord's son who just separated from his wife, comes to inspect the rented place, unaware that someone is living there. When he arrives he is shocked at the mess he has entered into, but not as shocked as Hotaru who discovers that her landlord's son is in actual fact... her boss!
