Drama Recap: Mr. Plankton Episode 4

Eo Heung's insistence on being with Jae Mi was not approved by Ho Ja. Eo Heung, however, refused to back down and demanded that his mother reconsider. After learning of what had transpired, Jae Mi went to see Eo Heung and tried to convince him to stop pursuing her.

Refusing to lose up, Eo Heung took Jae Mi's hand and asked her to swear not to let go. Moved, Jae Mi concurred. Eo Heung told his mother that Jae Mi was already pregnant in order to convince Ho Ja to accept their relationship.

Returning to the present, Jae Mi felt bad about releasing Eo Heung's hand. She is unsure of how to inform Eo Heung that she is experiencing premature menopause and that, should they decide to stay together, he will not be able to carry on the family line. Jae Min ultimately made the decision to remain with Hae Jo while hiding him in the bushes. She laments as the cops locate Eo Heung and remove him.

Jae Mi and Hae Jo went to a restaurant for dinner together. Hae Jo is confided in by Jae Mi about her predicament and the confusion she was experiencing. Before Hae Jo claimed to be glancing at Jae Mi's chest, everything was going smoothly. Before Hae Jo clarified that he was referring to the food stains on Jae Mi's garment, Jae Mi smashed water on his face. The fact that Jae Mi misinterpreted Hae Jo made her look ashamed. She attempted to use the moist tissue that Hae Jo used to wipe his face to clean her garment.

After Eo Heung left the police station, John Na provided him a background report on Hae Jo, formerly known as Chae Seung Hyeok. To his surprise, he discovered that Jae Mi and Hae Jo had made up a story about meeting at the orphanage. Eo Heung refused to return to his mother with John Na, stating that he had someone to protect.

After excluding the first contender, the proprietor of the pig intestine café, Jae Mi and Hae Jo bought two tickets to Busan so that Hae Jo could continue searching for his biological father. Unaware that Hae Jo had a deadly illness and that the developing cells in his brain could explode at any time, Jae Mi went with him. When Jae Mi finds him, Hae Jo has spilled his pills—which he had taken to conceal his illness—into the toilet. When Hae Jo appeared to be improving, Jae Mi brushed her suspicions aside.

Jae Mi and Hae Jo seem to be having a good time as they buy some clothes at the market. Hae Jo changed his phone right away after taking out a bag of cash from the bank. Gi Ho advised him to switch phones as the royal gang is after him for supposedly stealing his bride. However, Eo Heung and John Na were monitoring their whereabouts and are currently en route to Busan in order to locate them.

Bong Suk is working at the gambling den at night while she went around socializing with her clients. Hae Jo gave her a phone call and told her that he is on the street with another woman.

Jae Mi wanted to purchase a pair of shoes that she liked but couldn't afford. Hae Jo made the decision to buy her the shoes. He gazed at Jae Mi, enamoured by her beauty.

After learning that Gi Ho had betrayed him, the prince gang leader threatened to murder him. Gi Ho begs the gang leader to give him another chance, promising to do his best to capture Hae Jo this time, in an attempt to save his life.

Jae Mi chose to accompany Hae Jo in his ongoing search for his biological father. They discovered the sperm donor, who might be Hae Jo's father, residing in a peaceful area. He was suspicious of both of them, but Jae Mi chose to stand up for Hae Jo by stating that they intended to discover Hae Jo's father in order to give him a sense of self.

The sperm donor, Jae Geun, acknowledged that he was a divorcee with debt and that he had chosen to donate his sperm many years prior in exchange for gift money. Since he doesn't have any family, he would be happy to take Hae Jo's DNA test to see whether they are related.

In contrast, while looking for Jae Mi and Hae Jo, Eo Heung spends some quality time with John Na. As a doctor, Eo Heung helped John Na with his stomach problems by using several acupuncture points while they were eating together. Embarrassed, John Na got into the car. He was followed by Eo Heung.

Jae Mi and Jae Geun got along well, and she even disclosed that she was going through menopause. Jae Geun then made a joke about Hae Jo being a mushroom who doesn't know who made him and Jae Mi being a potato who is incapable of having children. Hae Jo may see through Jae Mi's anguish and imply that she cried out instead, even if she is laughing. While enduring his headache, Hae Jo comforted Jae Mi from the back as she sobbed beneath the cover in the middle of the night.

Drama Queen review

It doesn't matter to me right now whether Hae Jo finds his biological father or not. Prior to Hae Jo's passing, the couple's bonding and relationship mending are more important. Hae Jo might simply want to spend time with Jae Mi and work on his individuality, in my opinion. The fact that he is not his father's biological son has always bothered Hae Jo. He is searching for the love he experienced before the truth about his birth was revealed. It might be a miscommunication, in my opinion, that he believes he is unworthy of love and that his father no longer approves of him.

I get a negative vibe from Jae Geun's behavior. When he initially saw the couple, his eyes gave off a nasty vibe. Given how he presented himself to Hae Jo and Jae Mi, I don't think he is sincere or compassionate. He grows increasingly suspicious as a result of his attempts to learn more about the pair. I'm not sure what he's attempting to do or why. But I don't believe he's a decent person.

Eo Heung, the trustworthy older brother, is constantly watching out for everyone around him. I like that he is making a sincere effort to connect with John Na, who strikes me as being somewhat quiet and enigmatic. The mother of Eo Heung employed him as a bodyguard to keep her son safe. As always, the actor who played Eo Heung, Oh Jung Se, performed a fantastic job! The drama's most captivating scene is his. Well done!
