With an estimated production cost of S$1.8 million, the concert sets the record for being the most expensive production among all the K-Pop concerts held here. Super Junior and SHINee's concerts here were produced at a cost of S$1.5 million.
A total of 5,500 tickets will be available for sale with more than 2,000 tickets allocated to the three standing mosh pit areas and tickets to the 2011 Girls' Generation Tour in Singapore are priced at S$218 (Terrace/Mosh pit) and S$168 (Balcony/Partially-restricted).
Ticket sales will begin on Nov 1 (Tue) through SISTIC online, counter and phone bookings. Priority ticket bookings for OCBC and Samsung customers will begin on Oct 29 (Sat), via SISTIC online, phone and counter bookings. All customers are limited to 6 tickets per transaction.
The 2011 Girls' Generation Tour in Singapore -- to be held on Dec 9, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium -- will showcase a three-hour visual treat of sexy dance choreography, with a display of special effects including laser beams, LED screens, trapezes and elevated platforms.
"Based on the feedback received on Facebook and Twitter, along with the dozens of calls and emails we receive every day, we expect sales of the tickets to move swiftly," Beatrice Chia-Richmond, the managing director and creative director of Running Into The Sun, said.
The 2011 Girls' Generation Tour is jointly organised by Running Into The Sun and Conceptual.
