Fan fiction Chapter 4: Mun Yeong and Gang Tae Ant Nest

Following the well-known kiss between the couple at school, students were discussing it and the information rapidly spread throughout the entire school. The beginning of the school year is today. Entering the school grounds, Gang Tae overheard people murmuring about him. A girl passing by was mesmerized, commenting, "He is incredibly good-looking; I thought he resembled actor Kim Soo Hyun." Hooray! He is the student who aced the entrance exam. Regrettably, he is already in a relationship. Have you not heard about their recent kiss? "If I could only get my hands on him!" her friend sighed deeply. Greetings, newcomer. What do you prefer to be called? I am Lee Jung Hyun. Gang Tae listened to a voice calling him from behind. I am Moon Gang Tae; it's a pleasure to meet you. Gang Tae responded. We were informed that a good-looking student, slightly older than us, will be joining our class today. I am confident that the girls in our class will be thrilled to see you. "With a big smile, Jung Hyun mentioned how envious the other departments must be of us at this moment."

As anticipated, the girls in the class swarmed to Gang Tae as soon as they saw him, just like ants drawn to honey. They gathered around Gang Tae, eager to learn more about him. "Return to your chair!" The lecturer entered the classroom and addressed the students with a firm tone of voice. The audience quickly scattered and rushed to their locations. Jung Hyun guided Gang Tae to take a seat next to him. The lecture proceeded without interruption until the lunch break in the afternoon. "Hey, let's grab a bite at Subway and I'll introduce you to some of our classmates." Some of my friends are also close in age to you. Jung Hyun spoke with a warm grin. Gang Tae accepted their invitation to have lunch together.

The sky was becoming dimmer. Gang Tae returned home from school and upon opening the door, he heard Mun Yeong and Sang Tae arguing. It seemed very familiar, and surprisingly, it felt like home to Gang Tae. Gang Tae asked in a resigned tone what the two of you were arguing about. They both cease arguing when they see Gang Tae at the door. They stood next to him and placed his arm between theirs as they guided him to the dining table. "Decide between jajangmyeon and jjamppong for your meal." They both inquired simultaneously. "Are you arguing with each other because of this?" I will consume both noodles. Gang Tae responded while wrapping his arms around Sang Tae and Mun Yeong's shoulders. They enjoyed the noodles together with happiness, and Mun Yeong, who was spoiled like a princess, kindly requested Gang Tae to bring some braised quail eggs from Ju Ri's mom. Even though the dinner is plain to the taste, Gang Tae is moved by the depth of love his family shows him.

Sang Tae was in the bedroom, watching his favorite cartoon, after having dinner. Gang Tae accompanied him. "Gang Tae, I want to watch the cartoon; it's impolite to keep talking to me." Sang Tae spoke to Gang Tae. As he gazed at the television screen. Gang Tae nodded and took his leave. He exited the room and discovered Mun Yeong in the living room. "Come and tell me how your first day of school went." Mun Yeong smiled beautifully as she spoke. Gang Tae was seated on the sofa as Mun Yeong laid her head on Gang Tae's lap. "It was enjoyable; I formed friendships with new classmates." There is a classmate named Lee Jung Hyun. He is very kind and pleasant with me. Gang Tae grinned as he ran his fingers through Mun Yeong's hair and gently held her left hand. Mun Yeong asked in a threatening tone, “Were there plenty of ants in your school?” "Absolutely not!" Gang Tae responded with a voice full of worry. Mun Yeong grinned at Gang Tae and warned, "I'll destroy them if they step out of bounds." This gives Gang Tae a chill, leading him to laugh awkwardly in an attempt to hide it.

"Today after the lesson is over, Hyung, it will be time for independent study." "Let's grab a fast meal and then return." Jung Hyun smiled as he said. I regret to inform you that I have a lunch meeting scheduled and will be unable to accompany you. Gang Tae responded as he put the books inside his backpack. "Are you seeing your girlfriend?" Jung Hyun asked. Gang Tae responded with a grin, "yes." "Hey, did you notice a beautiful woman sitting on the bench just outside the school gate?" A friend rushed in to share this information with all of his classmates. Walking towards the school gate, Gang Tae and Jung Hyun noticed a lively crowd gathered around, eagerly looking at the gate, prompting them to question the cause of the excitement. "Observe the lovely woman seated beneath the magnolia trees, holding a book." One student made a remark. Additional individuals joined the large group of people already assembled to see the stunning lady. "Hey Mun Yeong!" Gang Tae shouted to her while pushing through the crowd and sprinting towards her. Causing the crowd to be completely stunned as he departed.

Mun Yeong put the book away in her handbag and smiled softly at Gang Tae as she got up. Jung Hyun trailed behind Gang Tae while he navigated through the crowd. "Hyungnim, is that the renowned children's book author Ko Mun Yeong?" Jung Hyun inquired cheerfully. Gang Tae confirmed, "Indeed, she is my girlfriend, Ko Mun Yeong." "Hello, I'm Lee Jung Hyun. Gang Tae Hyung introduced me to your books, and I'm now a big fan of yours." Jung Hyun reached out his hand for a handshake. Gang Tae watched with envy as Mun Yeong shook his hand. He ended their handshake by mentioning that they had been holding hands for too long.

Jung Hyun enthusiastically joined the couple for lunch at a Korean restaurant, acting like a fan. "Noona, were you aware that Hyung always had girls around him at our school?" I must act as the gatekeeper to prevent the excited girls from getting too close to Hyung and consuming him! Beneath the table, Gang Tae nudged Jung Hyun's leg to silently tell him to be quiet. "Oh, so that's what occurs in school?" Mun Yeong looked over at Gang Tae and smirked icily. "Let's have our lunch before it cools down." Gang Tae nervously smiled.

"Hyung, I'll take the first step." See you later at school. Jung Hyun bid farewell to the pair. Feeling the strange vibe, Jung Hyun chose to let them be. "Mun Yeong ah, please slow down your pace!" Gang Tae implored. He grasped Mun Yeong's hand and guided her to a bench in the park, then crouched down in front of her. "Listen, I apologize for being dishonest." I simply don't want you to misinterpret and overthink this issue, as it doesn't concern us. Ko Mun Yeong, you are the one and only woman I love in my life. Gang Tae spoke in a sweet manner. Mun Yeong smiled shyly while Gang Tae got up and gently caressed her hair. Crafty fox! Mun Yeong murmured quietly while Gang Tae smiled affectionately at her.

Mun Yeong arrived at the school to pick up Gang Tae after classes. She positioned her car close to the school gate as she rested against the car's bumper. Hello Author Ko Mun Yeong, can you recall who I am? My name is Choi Daniel. We encountered each other at Angel-In-Us coffeehouse previously. I found myself in this vicinity and pondered about the identity of the gorgeous woman in the distance. To me, it feels like fate that we have crossed paths once more. Are you aware that I attempted to contact you using the phone number you provided, but it appears there was an error in the numbers you gave me? May I have your phone number once more? He pulled out his cellphone from his pocket.

When Gang Tae left the school, he caught sight of Choi Daniel flirting with Mun Yeong. Filled with anger, he approached Mun Yeong, grabbed her hand, and declared, "Mr. Daniel Shi, I kindly ask you not to disturb my girlfriend!" Choi Daniel felt ashamed as he returned the phone to his pocket. Gang Tae, with anger in his eyes, requested to delete the pictures taken with Mun Yeong. Choi Daniel shyly averted his gaze and said goodbye to Mun Yeong. Gang Tae fixated his gaze on Choi Daniel until he vanished at the street's corner. "Hey, Moon Gang Tae, are you trying to claim your territory?" Mun Yeong teasingly inquired. Gang Tae gazed into her eyes and confidently stated, "Indeed, I am, and you are my lady!" Mun Yeong burst into laughter and gave Gang Tae a kiss on his lips. "You belong to me!" In a voice that was deep and alluring, Mun Yeong said.

"This lecture is for today." Remember to finish your tasks. Following the lecture, Jung Hyun guided Gang Tae to the hospitality department classroom and they stationed themselves by the side entrance. "Hey, Hyung, doesn't she appear delightful?" Jung Hyun pointed out the youthful female who was in her mid-twenties. Her hair is lengthy and smooth while her face is adorable and circular. Ji Won, referred to as the most attractive and charming girl in our college, is at the top of the list. Jung Hyun showed admiration. "Why should I be worried about that?" "Interestingly, Gang Tae asked." "Hyung, can you help me out by taking this love letter to her?" Jung Hyun pleads with him.

Upcoming Episode: Moon Gang Tae's college experience is set to be full of thrills. What will happen to him and Ji Won? Will they become the new campus couple? In the upcoming chapter, Mun Yeong will be angry with Gang Tae.

Fan fiction Chapter 3: Preparation for College

Mun Yeong, how about we return to SeongJin City tomorrow? While glancing at the car GPS, Gang Tae spoke to Mun Yeong. Gang Tae is returning to the cursed castle in order to get ready for his college entrance exams. As the sun descends, the couple enjoys the tasty pears Mrs. Baek provided while reading books on the camping chair during the afternoon. "Do you want to surprise Sang Tae oppa?" Mun Yeong gazed at Gang Tae with a sparkle in her eyes. I purchased a book about dinosaurs in the village. I'm certain that Sang Tae oppa will adore it! Mun Yeong exclaimed with enthusiasm. Gang Tae nodded and gave a smile. Gang Tae suggested grilling the beef steaks and vegetables given by the villagers as a parting gift. "That is fantastic!" Mun Yeong had a big smile on her face. Gang Tae was enchanted by Mun Yeong's beauty in the sunlight, so he leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on her lips. They gazed into each other's eyes with intense emotion and shared a deeper kiss in the breeze.

Gang Tae, under the picturesque sky resembling cotton wool, started a campfire overlooking the river. The beef steaks gifted by the villagers were grilled by them, and they shared some cabbage wrap with each other. They pass the night gazing at the moon and stars up above. On the following day, they resume their journey towards their home. While heading back home, Gang Tae collected green dandelion flowers and gifted them to Mun Yeong. She treasured the flowers by carrying them with her wherever she went. A couple of days went by, and they were nearing Seongjin City. Out of nowhere, a heavy rainstorm hit and they came to a halt in front of the Bates Motel sign. "It's no longer safe to drive; we should leave our camping car here and seek refuge in that motel." Mun Yeong gestured towards the motel directly ahead of them. Gang Tae hesitated while looking at the Batel Motel signboard. Without missing a moment, Mun Yeong seized his hand and exited the camping car.

The pair shielded their heads with a jacket as they embraced each other with their arms. They pushed the door to the motel entrance and appeared somewhat wet. The motel owner warmly welcomed the couple. "Hey, I haven't forgotten about the two of you!" During that instance, neither of you had money for an overnight accommodation. I also suggested a different motel nearby!” Feeling shy, Gang Tae requested, "We require a place to spend the night." "What is the price?" Gang Tae blushed and grinned as he pulled out his wallet to settle the bill for the room. Upon seeing them, the motel owner gazed at them with excitement and remarked, “I suspected you were a couple from the moment I laid eyes on you.” "Nothing can evade my sight." He gave the keys to Gang Tae and said, Please inform me if you require any special assistance. There are rose petals in the bathroom that you can place in the bathtub. He guided them to the motel room and placed something in Gang Tae's hand. "This is the gift I'm giving you." He winked at Gang Tae before departing. Gang Tae's hand opened and he was surprised by what he saw. His face flushed like a ripe tomato, causing Mun Yeong to avert her gaze in embarrassment. Gang Tae and Mun Yeong enjoy a romantic and intimate evening together at the motel until the following day.

In the cursed castle, Mun Yeong unlocked the door as Gang Tae pulled their luggage from the camping car. Mun Yeong watched Gang Tae unpack their luggage from the bed. "Moon Gang Tae, what are you going to do now that we've returned?" Mun Yeong inquired. Gang Tae responded, "I have already signed up for Gyeong Seong College." Once I am successful in the college entrance exam, I plan to pursue a three-year degree in psychology. "Should we consider selling this castle with bad luck and relocating to a new home situated close to your university?" Mun Yeong inquired nonchalantly. Gang Tae responded, "No problem; the university is only a one-hour drive away from here."

Gang Tae and Mun Yeong visited Juri House for their evening meal. Soon Deok exclaimed how long it had been since she last saw them as she embraced both of them. Ju Ri, Sang In, Jae Su, and Seung Jae were also present at the welcome dinner. "Where's Hyung?" Gang Tae inquired while scanning the area. Kim, the author, is giving Sang Tae a ride back to his place. I imagine he is currently returning. We will still surprise him regardless. Sang In said playfully, winking. I appreciate you taking care of my brother while I was away. Gang Tae expressed his gratitude in response. "I regret having to ask Sang Tae to work while you guys were on vacation." I need to make it right with you by looking after Sang Tae. "Gang Tae Shi, you also should have a lengthy period of relaxation." Sang In smiled warmly, saying. All of a sudden, the noise of a car engine is heard at the entrance. Sang Tae and Author Kim got out of the vehicle. Sang In descended to retrieve Sang Tae and express gratitude to Author Kim for sending Sang Tae back.

Gang Tae, hey! My younger brother by blood! Sang Tae wept. "Mun Yeong!" Oh, my younger sister! "When did you return?" Sang Tae embraced them tightly and tears of happiness flowed down his cheeks. We returned yesterday and have a surprise for you! With tears in his eyes, Gang Tae said. They came together at the dining table and talked about their trip experiences. Gang Tae and Mun Yeong purchased a few mementos while on their journey. Soon Deok received mittens, Ju Ri got a floral dress, Seung Jae got earrings, Jae Su and Sang In received sunglasses, and Sang Tae got a dinosaur book. They joyfully consumed food and beverages all night long.

The day arrived when Gang Tae had to head to the campus for his college entrance exams. He was looking sharp in a white shirt and black pants. He appeared both anxious and eager simultaneously. However, Mun Yeong was adorned in an exquisite manner resembling that of a princess wearing a vivid pink lacy gown, golden high heels, and a small tiara perched on her head. "Aren’t you dressed too elegantly?" Mun Yeong was questioned as Gang Tae scanned her outfit. Mun Yeong replied with a sly grin, "What knowledge do you possess?" She pulled Gang Tae to the car and took him to the college.

Mun Yeong walked confidently into the campus entrance with Gang Tae by her side, linking arms with him. All eyes were directed towards the attractive pair. They came to a halt directly in front of the classroom door. Out of nowhere, Mun Yeong seized Gang Tae's collar and planted a kiss on his lips. All those in attendance were amazed by the couple's open display of affection. "You will excel in the exam!" Mun Yeong gave a sweet smile to Gang Tae before she then turned to the ladies who were standing there and smirked. Gang Tae entered the classroom feeling embarrassed and covered his face while sitting near the window with his head down.

A couple of days after, Gang Tae got the news that he had aced the college entrance exams. He will soon be registered in the psychology department. Gang Tae informed everyone about the news, and they hosted a party to celebrate at Ju Ri house. While everyone else was getting dinner ready, Gang Tae spotted Mun Yeong on the rooftop balcony, enjoying the sunset. Quietly, he placed his arm around Mun Yeong from behind. "How can you be sure that I will succeed in the entrance exam?" Mun Yeong gazed into Gang Tae's eyes and assured him, "I have always believed in your ability to succeed in everything you do." Gang Tae's face lit up with a big smile while embracing Mun Yeong tightly.

Upcoming Chapter: What is in store for Gang Tae and Mun Yeong relationship? Is it possible for an ant colony to construct itself around Gang Tae? Will Mun Yeong murder the "ants"? Anticipate encountering a jealous Gang Tae in the upcoming chapter.

Fan fiction Chapter 2: Asan Pear Blossom Field

YAH, what's wrong with this darn car?! Mun Yeong yelled loudly. Gang Tae assumed control of the driving from Mun Yeong and halted at a village close by. He exited the vehicle, inspected the rear engine of the camping car, and found that the vehicle had malfunctioned. They required time to mend the camping car and allow it to recuperate for a while. This implies that they are unable to leave at the moment and have no choice but to spend the night in the village nearby. Gang Tae carried their bags as they entered the village and paused at the sign reading, "Asan Pear Blossom Field." Mr. Baek, the village leader, joyfully guided them to his home upon learning about their circumstances.

Having lived in the city her entire life, Mun Yeong was astonished as she entered a charming village for the very first time. The people living in this area were friendly and pleasantly surprised to see a young couple arriving in their town. As soon as the news of Ko Mun Yeong's arrival in the village spread rapidly, the couple was greeted with great excitement. Furthermore, it is uncommon for the villagers to see someone dressed as elegantly as Mr. Baek's daughter-in-law, who comes from a prominent family that controls a big shopping complex in Seoul. The villagers whispered, "Have you noticed how all the rich young women dress just as elegantly and extravagantly as Hae-In?" "They look incredibly stunning." The villagers surrounded Ko Mun Yeong, asking for autographs and taking selfies with her.

During the meeting, Mr. Baek introduced his family members, and Mrs. Baek excitedly pointed out, "Gang Tae shi, you look exactly like my second son!" In the family photo, Mr. Baek showed pride, blushing slightly and directing attention to his son, Baek Hyun Woo. Currently, he works as a lawyer at Queen's shopping mall, hardly coming back; meanwhile, you and Author Ko can spend the night in his bedroom. Mr. Baek led them to the room, and Gang Tae expressed gratitude with a bow for their kindness.

"Mun Yeong, hey, are you alright?" Gang Tae worried about Mun Yeong as he observed her quietness in the village. Mun Yeong grinned at Gang Tae, "I'm okay; perhaps I'm still impressed by the villagers and their friendly welcome." Gang Tae grabbed Mun Yeong's hand and told her, "Mun Yeong, look at the darkening sky; let's stay the night here. I understand that you are feeling uneasy. I assure you that we will depart once we can begin our camping trip. Mun Yeong smiled slightly, "I guess this will be a completely new adventure for me." Gang Tae lovingly ran his fingers through Mun Yeong's hair while gazing into her eyes. "Tap," "tap," Mr. Baek tapped on their door and graciously asked the couple to come over for dinner.

During the meal, Mun Yeong felt uncomfortable because it was her first time eating with a group of people she didn't know. The food was incredibly tasty and Mun Yeong quietly sat in the corner, delicately picking at the food on the table. The Baek family greeted them warmly while they poured drinks into the cups in turns. The dinner concluded happily, with everyone in a positive mood. Mrs. Baek asked Mun Yeong to join her in gathering pears on the farm as Gang Tae fixed the camping car early the next morning. Mun Yeong smiled awkwardly at Mrs. Baek and accepted to show her appreciation by assisting at the pear farm.

During Gang Tae's shower, Mun Yeong stayed by herself in the room. Bored, she strolled out onto the balcony, taking in the unfamiliar village landscape for the first time. "Beyond the walls of the castle where I've been imprisoned since birth lies a whole other world." Mun Yeong smiled as she thought to herself about how the residents in this area were welcoming and friendly to unfamiliar individuals like them. A little girl silently stood next to Mun Yeong and lightly tugged on her dress. Upon turning, Mun Yeong noticed a young girl about eight years old with a ponytail who looked up and smiled at her. Mun Yeong crouched down to meet her at eye level and locked eyes with her. "What are you doing here, you little brat?" While holding a book behind her back, the girl eagerly asks, "Can you sign this book for me?" with a beam in her eyes. I am a huge admirer of yours! Mun Yeong grinned and removed the book from her grasp. With great joy, the girl proclaimed, "Finding The Real Face" Mun Yeong carefully took the pen from her hand. "What do you go by?" "Mun Yeong Unnie, My name is Lee Soo Hyun." Mun Yeong wrote the book and gave it back to Soo Hyun. Upon opening the book, she read the following message: "Soo Hyun, may you always find happiness." I appreciate you being a fan of mine.

Watching from a distance, Gang Tae observed them exchanging gentle smiles with wet hair and a towel draped over his shoulders, smiling softly at the sight. Soo Hyun turned her head and noticed Gang Tae. She shyly grinned at Gang Tae and whispered to herself, "Attractive oppa." Mun Yeong looked over and spotted Gang Tae, who flashed them a cheerful grin. Mun Yeong quickly faced Soo Hyun again, appearing a bit irritated, and claimed, "This good-looking oppa is mine!" After hugging Soo Hyun, she got up, turned, and linked arms with Gang Tae. "Can we have a small fan gathering?" With a grin on his face, Gang Tae innocently inquired. "Quit flirting and grinning at girls in that manner!" Mun Yeong spoke with a jealous and possessive tone. Gang Tae erupted in laughter and shook his head. "I have a smile on my face as I look at you." He stated as he embraced Mun Yeong with his arms. I came out searching for you when I noticed you were not in the room. We should hit the hay soon after I finish drying my hair. As they returned to the room, Mun Yeong erupted in laughter. Tonight, the couple embraced each other tightly in bed. Mun Yeong rested her head on Gang Tae's shoulder. I have to admit that my fan has excellent taste, just like me. Gang Tae smiled knowingly as he planted a goodnight kiss on Mun Yeong's lips before they drifted off to sleep together.

"Mun Yeong, oh, please wake up!" Gang Tae softly nudged her shoulder. Mun Yeong had not slept on a comfortable bed in a while. She remained lounging in bed, unwilling to get up. Even though it was enjoyable traveling with Gang Tae in the camping car, there was no adequate mattress for a comfortable sleep. Mun Yeong isn't unhappy; as long as Gang Tae is with her, she will be content wherever they are. "Do you recall that you need to assist Mrs. Baek at the pear farm?" Mun Yeong's eyes widened suddenly in shock. Yes, she recalled committing to assist Mrs. Baek at the pear farm. Mun Yeong quickly rose from her bed and prepared herself to welcome the elderly couple who were already sitting at the dining table. Mun Yeong and Gang Tae exchanged greetings with the elderly couple at the table and shared breakfast with them. Gang Tae accompanied Mr. Baek to the repair shop, as Mun Yeong put on an ahjuma flowery attire and went with Mrs. Baek to the farm. While complaining about her dreadful outfit, Mun Yeong continued to pay close attention to Mrs. Baek's guidance on harvesting pears from the trees. Mun Yeong muttered and used foul language quietly while harvesting pears from the trees in the blazing sun.

After the sun goes down, Gang Tae comes back to find Mun Yeong tired, wearing an ahjuma outfit, and holding a bag of pears. Upon seeing her ahjuma outfit, Gang Tae burst into fits of laughter. Mun Yeung sulked and pushed him on the chest before entering the house with Mrs. Baek. After working all day, they cleaned up and gathered at the dining table in the evening. Mrs. Baek had already sliced the ripe pears and arranged them on the plate. "Let's savor the results of our hard work!" Mrs. Baek cheerfully proclaimed. That evening, they have a goodbye dinner because the couple will leave in their camping car the next morning.

Following the wonderful dinner, Gang Tae was asked to join Mr. and Mrs. Baek for some makgeolli as Mun Yeong was showering in the bathroom. They clinked their makgeolli bowls on the outdoor balcony while enjoying the night skies. "It had been quite a while since anyone visited our village; your arrival has caused some excitement." Because the camping car broke down, we can have you and Mun Yeong as our special guests. Mr. Baek grinned warmly at Gang Tae. Mrs. Baek added, "Unfortunately, Hyun Woo isn't here; I believe he would have gotten along with you and Mun Yeong." Gang Tae grinned and expressed gratitude to the elderly couple for their kind hospitality. I apologize for having Mun Yeong helping me at the pear orchard all day. I simply desired to invest time in getting to know her better. Mrs. Baek is frank in her speech. Gang Tae grinned in understanding at what she said. Despite appearing aloof initially, Mun Yeong reveals her true kindhearted nature once I get to know her better. I appreciate her lack of pretentiousness. I suppose I have become accustomed to her foul language and will feel her absence." Mrs. Baek chuckled. Gang Tae bowed his head with shame as he expressed gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Baek for their kindness towards them, and he apologized on behalf of Mun Yeong. Mrs. Baek clasped his hand in a motherly manner. "It's fine, Gang Tae; we enjoy you and Mun Yeong's company." Our life has become somewhat dull since our kids have become adults. Please feel free to come by and see us anytime you have a moment. Mrs. Baek smiled kindly.

"Moon Gang Tae, what is your current activity?" Mun Yeong strolled to the balcony wearing her nightgown and saw Gang Tae gazing affectionately at his phone with a smile on his face. "Are you concealing from me an image of a woman?" Mun Yeong attempted to grab his phone. Gang Tae playfully dodged her and revealed a photo of Mun Yeong in the floral ahjuma attire. "From where did you acquire that image?" Mun Yeong attempted to grab the phone and erase the unattractive photo. Mrs. Baek captured a spontaneous moment of you at the pear farm. You appear adept at plucking pears from the tree!" Gang Tae playfully remarked. She ran after Gang Tae on the balcony, insisting that he delete the unattractive picture. Crafty fox! Remove the image or I will harm you! Mr. and Mrs. Baek gazed affectionately at the couple, smiling warmly. Mr. Baek grasped his wife's hand and remarked, "Do they not remind you of us when we were a young pair?" Mrs. Baek hit his chest and motioned for him to return to the house with their kettle and bowl. "Come on, we shouldn't intrude on the young couple by being here."

The following day, Gang Tae and Mun Yeong said goodbye to the elderly couple's family, and some villagers showed up to see them off. Mrs. Baek prepared a bag of pears for Mun Yeong to bring on their journey. Mrs. Baek embraced Mun Yeong and expressed, "I desire to have more opportunities to be together with you." If you can find the time, please return and stay longer so we can gather more pears. Mun Yeong awkwardly chuckled, and Mrs. Baek acted as if she didn't notice. They expressed gratitude to the villagers for their hospitality before boarding the camping car. Gang Tae drove the camping car out of the village while they waved goodbye to the villagers.

While in the camping car, Mun Yeong glanced at her phone and smiled upon reading a message. Gang Tae inquired, "What's the reason for your smile?" Gang Tae, feeling curious, sneakily looked at her phone. "Are you purchasing every single pear from the pear farm owned by Mr. and Mrs. Baek for the villagers?!" "Mun Yeong, you are incredibly impressive!" Gang Tae was pleasantly taken aback. The elderly couple recently got a check for one million won from Mun Yeong in an envelope. Seung Jae made the long journey to deliver the check to the couple and thank them on behalf of Mun Yeong. The elderly pair gazed at one another and were taken aback by the thoughtful act.

"I won't forget the picture of me in unflattering ahjuma clothes on your phone for even a second." Mun Yeong spoke with a commanding tone. With an innocent expression, Gang Tae playfully remarked, "You always look stunning in any outfit; however, this is the only time I'll see you dressed like this." Mun Yeong angrily called out, "Crafty fox!" Gang Tae expressed with a hint of sorrow, "It appears that the summer vacation is coming to a close." He grasped Mun Yeong's hand and offered a small, melancholic smile. "I can abduct you once more, and on this occasion, we will have a better time than what we are currently having." Mun Yeong confidently announced with a broad grin. Gang Tae flashed a sweet smile at Mun Yeong, expressing his confidence in the future of their fun times together.

Writer Kim and Sang Tae were occupied with their latest book project at work. "Sang Tae oppa, you assisted writer Ko Mun Yeong with her globally recognized children's book, Finding The Real Face." What led her to discover the inspiration for writing this book? Did she also encounter patients with mental instability? Hey Sang Tae, why are you not responding to me? Sang Tae kept drawing his illustrations diligently, without glancing at her. He stated with certainty, "She is my younger sister." Kim stopped writing and observed Sang Tae's facial expressions. She lifted one eyebrow and smiled to herself. "If I discover any scandalous secrets about the well-known and accomplished Ko Mun Yeong, I will expose them and make sure she loses her spot at the top of the children's storybook ranking list." Kim, the author, had a thought in her mind.

Upcoming chapter: What fate lies ahead for the collaboration between Sang Tae and Writer Kim? Where are Gang Tae and Moon Yeong headed? Will they come back to Seongjin city?

Fan fiction Chapter 1: The Start of a Fresh Adventure for the Moon Siblings

FanfictionContinuing the story of It's Okay to Not Be Okay in Season 2. After waiting for four years without any updates on a potential second season, I took matters into my own hands and began writing my version of the troublemaker trio's adventures.

Timeline: The story traces the journey of the troublemaker trio as Sang Tae chooses to separate from Gang Tae and Mun Yeong during a camping trip. Sang Tae desires to work as an illustrator for children's books. Gang Tae and Mun Yeong left Sang Tae with Sang In.

Summary: Sang Tae left his brother and sister to pursue a career as an illustrator of children's books. Gang Tae and Mun Yeong carry on with their small escapades. What kind of obstacles will they face? Could Gang Tae going to college cause the couple to grow apart? Is the couple going to begin a new family? Will Sang Tae succeed in his business endeavor?

Chapter 1: The Start of a Fresh Adventure for the Moon Siblings

Following their coffee break, Sang Tae and Gang Tae shared an emotional farewell as they chose to part ways. Similar to the events in the story Finding the Real Face, they have now found the bravery to chase after their joy. Both cars drove off in different directions, with Sang Tae suggesting that it is preferable to kiss rather than argue.

While on the road in the camping car, Moon Gang Tae was concerned about his brother as it was their first extended time apart. He was feeling separation anxiety because he had been looking after his brother for so long. He is aware that he is now free from the burden of taking care of his brother and being unable to be his true self. His identity was finally discovered with the help of the woman sitting beside him.

Mun Yeong advised to stop contacting Sang Tae Oppa regularly as he is well taken care of by Sang In. With tired eyes, she gazed at Gang Tae and questioned sharply, "Are you ready to return now?" Gang Tae gently shook his head and expressed, "I think I still need more time to figure out how to live on my own without relying on my brother." Mun Yeong smiled knowingly and replied, "If you truly wish to return, we can go back whenever you'd like." They parked their camping car at a lavender plantation. "Come on, let's do it!" While holding hands, Mun Yeong and her companion walked on the grassland, enjoying the fresh air and snapping more selfies.

Sang Tae came with Sang In to the recently founded Sang Sang ESang publishing company and was presented to the author he will be working together with. Sang Tae believed she was beautiful, but no one could replace Ko Mun Yeong in his fanboy heart, especially back when she had long hair that reached her waist. The beautiful woman with glasses appeared to have a friendly demeanor as she warmly welcomed Sang Tae. "Hello Sang Tae oppa, I'm Kim Ji Hye, and I'll be collaborating with you on my upcoming book." Sang In smiled and told Sang Tae, "I believe you will collaborate effectively with author Kim Ji Hye."

They commenced collaborating on the new book following numerous discussions shortly after their initial meeting. He was preoccupied with the drawing and scarcely had a moment to chat with Gang Tae. Kim Ji Hye, the author, is a kind individual who appreciates Sang Tae's efforts, but there are concerns about his workload. Gang Tae pondered. After Sang In reassured him that he would check on their work progress, he was able to relax a bit. Mun Yeong and Gang Tae chose to proceed with their small adventure and relish each other's presence in the camping car.

Sang In searched for Ju Ri at Ok Psychiatric Hospital during lunch, where she is currently the head nurse. Hey, Ju Ri, are you occupied at the moment? Do you want to have lunch together? Ju Ri shyly smiled and nodded before heading to the hospital canteen. I am happy that there have been positive changes recently since I established my business in Seongjin city. The discovery of the completed version of The Murder of the Witch of the West allows us to maintain our standing in the field. I am shocked that cunning girl Seung Jae hid the draft from me for a whole month before finally putting it on my desk! Is she under the impression that I will never uncover the fact that it was she who committed this act?

Despite the shift in writing style, our book "Finding the Real Face" by Sang Tae and Ko Mun Yeong continues to receive positive reviews. I am eagerly anticipating the news of Finding the Real Face being nominated for the Best Children's Novel Award. At first, I was concerned about how this book would be received because of the silly video. Now that everything has been resolved, I feel much better. Sang In flashed a big smile at Ju Ri. "You did well, and didn't I say that everything would work out and that the video should be viewed as a way to promote the book instead? That will increase the sales of the books significantly! Juri spoke with a smile on her face. Sang In gave Ju Ri a wink. Maybe you should resign from your current job and join me as a marketing employee," Ju Ri chuckled. "No more time for jokes; I must return to work because Ok Psychiatric Hospital has chosen a new director, who is extremely strict."

Sang In, Ju Ri, Jae Su, Seung Jae, and Ju Ri Mum Soon Deok gathered at the rooftop table under the night sky, enjoying some barbecue meat. Soon Deok sighed and said, "The absence of Sang Tae and Gang Tae has made this house feel so empty!" I am curious about how they are dealing with their trip. Sang In reassured, "No need to worry, Sang Tae is collaborating effectively with Author Kim Ji Hye. Author Kim admires Sang Tae's drawings while they are occupied with their new project. I frequently heard her commend Sang Tae's efforts, and together they chose to remain at the office, putting in hard work until they finished the project. Regarding Gang Tae and Mun Yeong, they plan to visit a rural village before returning in one or two weeks. Gang Tae must begin getting ready for his college entrance exam once summer is over.

While at the camping car, Mun Yeong phoned Sang Tae. "Sang Tae Oppa, why did you forget about me so quickly after only one week?!" Mun Yeong expressed her annoyance to Sang Tae during their phone conversation. "Mun Yeong, kindly speak in a lower tone when communicating with older individuals." I have to continue with my project that involves writer Kim Ji Hye. I will contact you again when I have some free time. Mun Yeong lowered the phone with a petulant expression and exited the camping car to join Gang Tae, who sat on the camping chair. Gang Tae grinned affectionately at Mun Yeong and remarked, "Seems like someone's getting a bit envious and clingy." Mun Yeong crossed her arms and rejected his statement.

On a different day, they sat side by side on the bench, gazing at the blue sky and appreciating the lovely view. They intertwined their arms and looked affectionately into each other's eyes. It appears as though they are in a separate reality where only the two of them exist. Gang Tae asked Mun Yeong, "Where do you want to go next?" Mun Yeong softly responded, "I will follow you no matter where you decide to go." Mun Yeong rested her head on Gang Tae's shoulder while they embraced. Gang Tae extended his hand towards Mun Yeong and gently touched her right hand.

Upcoming chapter:
What type of escapade will Gang Tae and Mun Yeong experience in the rural village? Will Sang Tae collaborate well with author Kim Ji Hye? Who is Kim the author and is she genuinely kind?

Drama Review: It’s Okay To Not Be Okay Episode 1

Summary

The story begins with an animation about our protagonist Ko Mun Yeong as a little girl. She was labelled as a monster that went around terrifying the people around her. She was often lonely and one day, she saved a boy from drowning and he started to follow her around. Then a scary haunting voice told the girl to remember that she is a monster. Now our female protagonist became a beautiful lady as she answered. "Yes, mother."

Now let's meet our male protagonist Moon Gang Tae, a certified caretaker in a hospital. He has an autistic elder brother. This day, his brother Moon Sang Tae had caused some commotion in his workplace. As a result, Moon Gang Tae have to come and fetch his brother home. Moon Sang Tae has autism spectrum that is more towards high functioning. He has no problem taking care of himself generally but he is sensitive about his hair and hate it when people touch him. He has always observe his brother facial expressions and Gang Tae always hate his emotion towards his elder brother.

The little girl grew up to become a dark fairy tale author Ko Mun Yeong. She was seated alone at a quiet corner of the restaurant, cutting his steak. A little fan spotted her, and the mother asked for an autograph and a picture. The girl praised Ko Mun Yeong for being pretty like a princess and she was displeased and said to the girl that in her fairytale book, it is always the witch that is pretty. It scares the girl off during the photoshoot. Ko Mun Yeong manager Sang In came to fetch Mun Yeong for her fairytale reciting session and requested Mun Yeung to change into a brighter outfit. Mun Yeong refused to oblige and took the steak knife which she fancies because of its sharpness as she walked out of the restaurant. Sang In have to paid off the money for the knife that Mun Yeong "stole" from the steak restaurant.

Moon Gang Tae is back at the hospital as he change to his uniform, we can see the bruise and scratches on his muscular body probably due to the danger of his work as a caregiver. A patient was depressed and gobbled up all the food, Gang Tae tried to calm down the patient who started vomiting out the food that she ate. Gang Tae tolerated it as he imagined to be in a bed of roses. After that, the patient slapped Gang Tae on the face and told him not put on that fake smile as it disgusted her.

The colleagues in the hospital were curious about Gang Tae as he seem to move from one workplace to another in a short period of time. One day, a mental patient was admitted to the hospital as he tried to kill his daughter and himself. On the other hand, Moon Gang Tae called his brother to check on him. He asked his brother, " do you like me or Ko Moon Yeong?" His brother did not respond and hang up his phone.

At the hospital rooftop, Moon Tae chanced upon Ko Mun Yeong the children book writer. Unknown to him, his brother is a big fan of Ko Moon Yeong book. He advice Mun Yeong to put out the cigarette that she lighted at the non-smoking area. She stepped forward to look at him in the eyes and said, " do you believe in destiny?" She continued, " Destiny is when you need that person and he or she appeared right in front of you." Before she walks away, she dropped the cigarette she was holding into Gang Tae coffee cup.  Gang Tae was agitated and crushed the cup in his hand.

At the hospital recite hall, Mun Yeong was reciting her fairytale. when the lights switched off and everyone were asked to leave the hall due to an emergency situation. Turns out that a mental patient had escaped and came here to find his daughter. Ko Mun Yeong saw that the man wanted to struggle his daughter to death. She helped the daughter to escape and was struggled by the man instead. Mun Yeong had a flashback on his father trying to struggle her when she was a child. She was broken as she laughed and cried with the memories. Moon Gang Tae arrived at the nick of time and pulled the man away. In an act of revenge, Mun Yeung intend to attack the patient with a steak knife. Gang Tae stopped her with his bare hand. They stared deep into each other eyes. The knife cut his palm and he needed stitches at the medical center.

Due to the incident, the hospital have to held responsible for the lack of vigilant and the hospital director decided to let Gang Tae be the scapegoat as his employment record shows that he job hop very frequently within a few months to a year. In return, he will be offered some money for taking up this responsibility instead of the intern. Gang Tae was upset and his friend Jae Su came to fetch him with his motorbike.

Juri who was working in Ok mental hospital happened to be childhood friends with Ko Mun Yeong. She was tasked to go to Moon Yeong to sign some document for her father who is admitted as a mental patient in Ok hospital. She was fearful of Ko Mun Yeung as she collapsed to the floor after meeting up with her. Gang Tae forgotten to ask for an autograph from Ko Mun Yeong and Jae Su volunteer to forge her signature to deceive Sang Tae. But Sang Tae saw through it and started to throw tantrum. They tried to calm him down and pacify him.

At night, Mun Yeong thought about her trauma as she laid on the bed holding on to the family photo. Gang Tae was also awake at night as he thought about what happened. Mun Yeong was in her hotel room bed and thought of Gang Tae beautiful eyes. Unable to sleep, Gang Tae woke up and read Ko Mun Yeong book - The boy who fed on nightmare. His brother was sound asleep when he suddenly dreamt of the butterflies chasing him. He let out a cry and woke everyone up. While walking to the office, she found Gang Tae reading one of her books and dressed like a gigolo. Gang Tae said that her eyes reminds him of a girl that she liked when he was a boy. They stared intensely at each other eyes.

My thoughts

I watched this drama in year 2020 when it first premiered on Netflix and I was a fan of this drama. It was during the gloomy period of covid 19 and we were trying to get back to normal life after the pandemic. It was only after i watched Queen Of Tears that reminded me to watch the previous work from Kim Soo Hyun. That was when my sister told me that this drama is very nice and recommended me to watch it. In the end, i rewatched this drama and felt deeper about this drama since I understand better after a second watch.

My father who was watching this drama with me commented that Ko Moon Yeong must be a villain and Juri must be the good girl. How wrong can he be! I told her the female lead is actually Ko Mun Yeong. He judged Ko Mun Yeong based on her character and i have to explain to him that Ko Mun Yeong is actually suffering from childhood trauma that is why she behaved differently.

I was a big fan of animation, and the use of this technology suited the atmosphere of this drama. It's Okay To Not Be Okay connect with some fairytale's stories which like what Ko Mun Yeong said, it is also an introspection of the reality life that we live in. The way she interprets the world as dark and cold reflected in her writings of the fairytale books. I love the way the characters were introduced to us, and it was very clear from the beginning that the main characters all have their personal baggage and issues in life that they carried with them through adulthood.

I empathize with Moon Gang Tae for being the sole caregiver of his elder brother. He seem to keep his smile in order to keep everything peaceful. That smile is like the smile of a joker which his friend Jae Su pointed out in this episode. I can immediately feel the pain and the patience of Gang Tae when he took care of his brother. This episode i had a glimpse of why Ko Mun Yeong behave violently and i supposed that have to do with her family and her upbringing. She was classified as antisocial disorder but i think she has a tender heart beneath her cold exterior. I was hoping that the medical diagnosis will be proven wrong for Ko Mun Yeong. She should be able to show and feel love with the people who truly love and care for her. When Mun Yeong mentioned about destiny, i am sure they will be each other soulmates and life partner.

The boy who fed on nightmare was introduced in this drama and i was very impressed with the story. This book teaches me to face my trauma and over come it. It is only when you overcome it, then your soul will become an adult. This encourage people to be strong and face your problem instead of avoiding it. I think after reading this book, Moon Gang Tae decided to face his problem and not to run away like a coward. I also feel sad for the girl whose father decided to commit suicide after his failed attempt to kill his daughter. Mental issue is so real and it happens in all types of situation. It is time for us to pay attention to these social issues and not to try and bury them under the carpet.
