Drama Recap: Mr. Plankton Episode 2

The couple used the sperm he had frozen for artificial insemination, which resulted in the birth of Hae Jo. When the couple saw their baby boy, they were ecstatic.

The youngster was loved and cared for by the couple till he reached childhood. Sadly, the medical clinic called them one day to inform the couple that they had made a mistake with the sperm vials. Bottle 137 was mistaken for bottle 139 by the doctor.

The couple was devastated to learn of this tragedy because they had been raising a child who was not biologically theirs all along.

Since Hae Jo was not their biological child, his parents left him behind. They no longer have the capacity to adore him. Hae Jo became aware that his parents were discarding him.

When Hae Jo told his experience to the medical personnel and patients, they all sympathized with the youngster. He was accused of lying when he claimed that this facility made that thoughtless error. When he confessed that he was the boy in the narrative, the audience was shocked and felt sorry for him.

Hae Jo sought information about his biological father from the doctor. Given that he only had three months to live and that his illness was inherited, Hae Jo turned to threats when the doctor informed him that he was not allowed to reveal the donor's personal details. He had nothing to lose, and as his time runs out, all he wants is to locate his biological father.

Hae Jo drove his automobile to find Jae Mi after learning more about his biological father. When Hae Jo saw Jae Mi in her room and invited her to join him on an expedition, there is where the plot ties into the previous episode.

Eo Heung, Jae Mi's future husband, came in and was taken aback to see the two of them. Hae Jo identified himself as a childhood friend of Jae Mi who shared her upbringing in an orphanage. Despite his suspicions, Eo Heung decided to trust them and even invited Hae Jo to attend the wedding as a guest. Since Eo Heung is twelve years older than Jae Mi, Hae Jo pointed it out. Eo Heung, however, made a joke out of the age difference and did not mind it.

Eo Heung was adamant that he was prepared to commit to Jae Mi when asked if he loved her. Hae Jo was informed by Jae Mi that they had decided to stage a pregnancy in order to tie the knot. After mocking that, Hae Jo abducted Jae Mi. He unintentionally caused Jae Mi to strike her head and faint while he was hoisting her up his shoulders.

One of the family's servants witnessed what transpired as she attempted to capture the escaping chicken. She believed that Hae Jo was abducting Jae Mi.

Gi Ho tried to phone Hae Jo to inform him of his predicament after the gang leader destroyed their residence in retribution. However, Hae Jo did not answer his phone. The Eo clan was forced to cancel the wedding due to the fugitive bride.

The Eo clan was prepared to place the blame on Bum Ho Ja, who is aware that the men in the clan wished for her to make a mistake so they could get revenge. Bum Ho Ja, however, is not going to be defeated by them because she refused to back down and spoke about her role in the Eo clan.

Hae Jo used the little information he had been given by the doctor to narrow down his search for his biological father to five families. When he finally took up the phone, he informed Gi Ho that he had kidnapped a bride from her wedding. Hae Jo discovered that Jae Mi had woken up and left the car just as he was about to disclose his whereabouts. He hurriedly put down the phone, unaware of the disaster he had created for Gi Ho. The gang leader thought his lady had been abducted by Hae Jo. The gang leader told Gi Ho to assist him in finding Hae Jo in order to preserve his life when he begged for it.

They soiled their clothing at the grass patch as Hae Jo pursued Jae Mi. Jae Mi chastised Hae Jo for leaving her and claimed that she was no fun when they split up, accusing him of being responsible for the situation she was in. She went through menopause at the age of 28 because of him. Hae Jo comforted her and gave her a hard hug.

Jae Mi noticed her red wedding shoes when she was doing the laundry. She recalled that Eo Heung was the one who prevented her from executing her escape plan from the wedding. He made the effort to locate a pair of red shoes that were just the right size for her feet. She acquired the strength to persevere for their wedding because of Eo Heung's dedication.

Before visiting a family, they must buy new clothes, according to Hae Jo. Jae Mi pretended to use the restroom as they passed a gas station, but her true intention was to get away from Hae Jo. Given that he knows her well, it goes without saying that Hae Jo saw right through her scheme.

Eo Heung made the decision to search for his kidnapped spouse in his car. Since he was not granted permission to leave the house, every servant made an effort to talk him out of acting hastily. He persisted until his mother, Bum Ho Ja, personally intervened to stop him. She gave him instructions to return to his room while she came up with a solution.

Jae Mi and Hae Jo walk into a clothing store. Jae Mi entered the changing room after asking the salesperson for a phone. She attempted to contact Eo Heung, message him with her whereabouts, and request his help in saving her. Impatient, Hae Jo chose to try on the garments in public as she waited for Jae Mi to exit the changing room. Even though she was surprised, the salesperson couldn't resist seeing him change. Before they left the store after buying the new outfits, Hae Jo urged Jae Mi to give the salesperson back the phone.

Despite his mother's protests, Eo Heung was adamant on disobeying her. After hearing Jae Mi's phone message, Eo Heung drove out in search of her late at night.

After hours of driving, Hae Jo and Jae Mi arrived to a family-run eatery that serves Sundaeguk (blood saugage). When Hae Jo looked around, he saw that the man who was serving them was disabled. All of his children returned to assist him with his business when he disclosed that he had suffered a stroke. Hae Jo pretended that the elderly guy had something on his hair in order to prick off a strand of it. Additionally, he uses his “wife” Jae Mi's pregnancy as an excuse to spend the night here, claiming he lacks the funds to cover the cost of the meals.

This family hosted a sleepover for Jae Mi and Hae Jo. Hae Jo advises Jae Mi not to leave while they are asleep because he is a light sleeper. Jae Mi made an attempt to get out of bed as soon as she was convinced Hae Jo had fallen asleep. But when she heard Hae Jo pleading with her to stay with him, she stopped. Jae Mi's heart softened, and she turned around and grasped his hand. Hae Jo opened his eyes abruptly and turned to face Jae Mi.

Drama Queen review

Hae Jo reminds me of Ko Moon Young in certain ways. They are the same kind of insecure individuals who constantly attempt to drive others away. They are manipulative in some respects and reluctant to accept sympathy from others. Hae Jo and Ko Moon Young are both pathetic individuals who had difficult upbringings. As a result, they frequently act in extreme ways, such as being impetuous and unyielding.

Moon Gang Tae's character traits are also present in Jae Mi. She had previously fallen profoundly in love with Hae Jo, but he had also deeply wounded her. We are aware that Jae Mi is adamant about leaving him and that they still love one another. Jae Mi, on the other hand, simply cannot ignore Hae Jo and has a sweet spot for him. I believe Hae Jo is aware of everything and has a deeper understanding of Jae Mi than she does. As a result, Hae Jae can foresee Jae Mi's actions in every scenario when she tries to flee.

Finally, we have Eo Heung, the mummy boy who, for once, chose to drive out to find Jae Mi over his mother's objections. Eo Heung seems innocent and pure to me. But I doubt that he truly loves Jae Mi. Is he truly in love with Jae Mi, or is he just rebelling against his domineering mother? In any case, I'm happy to see Oh Jung Se playing Eo Heung. On the surface, he seems so innocent, but I'm still not convinced about his personality. His performance reminds me of the simplicity of Moon Sang Tae. In order to form my opinion of him in this drama, I expect to see more facets to his personality.
