Fan fiction Special Chapter 2: Moon Tae

Although Moon Tae's appearance is similar to Gang Tae's, as he ages, his attitude begins to resemble Mun Yeong. Since she hoped Moon Tae would not inherit her fiery temper but rather have a good disposition like his father, Mun Yeong periodically worries about her child's future. Moon Tae, six, is infatuated with a toy car and is determined to get one. In the event that his pals attempt to take it from him, Moon Tae will struggle with them and bite them. When reprimanded by Mun Yeong, Moon Tae will reply that he is just like her.

At night, when Gang Tae returns home, Mun Yeong will complain about Moon Tae's behaviour and mannerisms in their bedroom. He's just like you, Moon Tae will say with a laugh. With a pout, Mun Yeong would cross her arms and remark, "He's not like me." Gang Tae proposed teaching Moon Tae gradually in order to soothe her. Then he smiled softly at Mun Yeong and stroked her hair.

Moon Tae was by himself on a typical day, watching his friends play on the playground. At the corner, he witnessed a gang of older children mistreating a small girl. He is considering his options. To help or not help. In the end, he decided to help the girl. As he got close to the thugs, he threw his water bottle at them. "Come here!" yelled the thugs, who were prepared to assault him. When the bullies raised their hands to Moon Tae, he bit them. Gang Tae got there in time to stop the bullies from hitting him again. The children turned their backs and fled in fear. Gang Tae praised Moon Tae for his bravery.

Shortly after, the young mother came to the school to get her child. For assisting her daughter in chasing the bullies away, she expresses gratitude to Gang Tae and Moon Tae. When some thugs were tormenting Uncle Sang Tae because of his disability, Moon Tae said that he had witnessed Mun Yeong beating them up. Gang Tae remarked, "Your mother is a decent person. Her family will always be protected by her.” With a smile, Moon Tae remarked, "I wish I were like my mother." Gang Tae grinned and said, "I am also proud of my wife."

Mun Yeong asked the father and son to get inside the car after arriving with Sang Tae. Mun Yeong was informed about the bullying incident by Gang Tae. "You should beat them up!" she said to Moon Tae. Are you in pain? Mun Yeong was worried. "Mun Yeong ah, you should not encourage Moon Tae to fight," stated Sang Tae. According to Gang Tae, fighting is wrong. "Hyung, Moon Tae just saved the girl from bullying," Gang Tae added with a smile. Sang Tae gave Moon Tae a nod of appreciation for his kindness and bravery. "I am not saving that girl," Moon Tae declared. They were simply bothering me with all the noise instead. Mun Yeong grinned and said, "That's why you shouldn't suppress your rage." After glancing at Mun Yeong, Gang Tae advised her against teaching their son to be a thug. Mun Yeong firmly bit her lips.

At dinnertime, Mun Yeong and Moon Tae argued about the last soy braised quail egg on the plate. Gang Tae glanced at each of them, then split the quail egg in two and gave it to them. Moon Tae insists that Gang Tae feed him. At the same time, Mun Yeong wants to be fed by Gang Tae. Sighing, Gang Tae puts down his cutlery to use a spoon to feed the two of them. Moon Tae and Mun Yeong felt satisfied after consuming the quail egg."You two are no longer babies," Sang Tae sighed. It is your responsibility to feed yourself. Moon Tae and Mun Yeong exchanged a smile.

"Out of Mum and me, who do you like better?" Moon Tae questioned Gang Tae. "I love you both equally and in different ways." Gang Tae calmly gave Moon Tae an explanation. How about you, mum? Which do you love more, Dad or me? Mun Yeong was questioned by Moon Tae. With a smile, Mun Yeong said, "I love myself more." She was right, Moon Tae agreed. "Me too." He smiled as he spoke. Who do you prefer, Uncle Sang Tae? My parents or me? Moon Tae enquired. "I prefer Dooly the dinosaur." As he patted his plush toy, Sang Tae spoke. "Let's play with Dooly," suggested Moon Tae with a smile.
