What is going to happen to YG Entertainment And Big Bang?

YG Entertainment faces their greatest crisis ever as stock tumble amid ongoing controversies. CEO Yang Hyun Suk is being sued by the Stockholders of YG Entertainment and Civil groups for lack of ethics and morality. We know that YG Entertainment had a bad reputation of being a “drug store” company with the scandals of  its artisties involvement with drugs over the years. It seems that the management agency had neglected their duties. They also filed a complaint against Make Us Entertainment Agency CEO Lee Dong Hyun (Jung Joon Young agency) for the neglect of supervision. In my opinion, it is not entrirely the agency fault as the CEO of these companies couldn’t be involved in the personal life of the artistes. Aside from work duties, I do not see the need for them to be controlling their private life. Due to the outrage of the public and the lost of money in the business, I understand that they needed someone to blame. 

The next question is what will happen to YG Entertainment? I supposed CEO Yang Hyun Suk may eventually step down from his duty as he is also involve another scandal of tax evasion.  The remaining artistes may still continue to work in this company. YG Entertainment spot as the top three artiste managing agencies may be threatened at the moment, but with a good management team they may eventually bounce back to the game and be one of the biggest players.

What about Big Bang? I supposed the remaining members will have to continue to perform as a group of four after they discharge from their military service. Prior to this scandal, Big Bang members TOP and G-dragon were respectively accused in taking marijuana and Dae Sung was involved in a freaking car accident which was technically not his fault. These controversies were forgiven due to the nature of the crime that wasn’t something that was unredeemable. However in the case of Seungri, he was suspected to be involved in the criminal syndicates. Those controversies can easily end his career.

Footage of his previous video with his Big Bang members went viral online as it was mentioned that his hyungs (elder brothers) have an uneasy feelings after Seungri went into business a few years ago. Fellow member TOP even warned Seungri about some of his friends having bad influences on him and supposedly took advantage of his title. Leader G-Dragon also mentioned that Seungri have not been spending time with them after he went into business. Indeed, the greed for money is the root of all evil. That is the price to pay for his wrongdoings. Even if Big Bang remaining members decided to disband in the future, I am positive that their solo activities will be successful. 

In my own opinion, Seungri has a big ego and he always enjoys being the centre of attention. He likes to show off the glamorous side of his luxurious lifestyle to everyone. I supposed there were some jealousy involved and the need to be recognised within his group. Sadly, he did not made good decisions in his life and his career had officially ended.

A reflection of Shinee Jonghyun suicide note

I was devastated and was in disbelief when I heard of Jonghyun passing. Having read all the articles related to him, I had tears in my eyes. Nobody expected this tragedy to happen and the heartache his friends and family felt could not be measured. Losing someone so precious was such a tragedy and to lose someone due to suicide caused more pain to the livings. The blaming game started online accusing others and blaming on things and circumstances is easy for the outsiders. However, to the close family or friends, it only add salt to the open wound. Let those who had never commit a sin throw the first stone! The moral of the story is to reflect on yourself and not be judgmental on other people. 

As some one who went through depression, I can almost identify and relate to the things that Shinee Jonghyun wrote in the suicide note. I can truly understand how terrifying depression can be and how it can silently take a person life. I was thankfully saved by the grace of God. The almighty God found me before I make the decision to end everything. Most of the time when I experience negative thoughts I would ask God to just take me away. The pain in my heart and the unending sleepless night, make me loathe myself and wanted to get away from myself. Twice in my life I wanted to put my thoughts into action. However, I was saved before the tragedy happen by either a phone call or a person happen to be around to stop me from committing suicide. 

The topic of depression can stem from childhood to the growing up process. There may be certain experiences and letdown that follow the star as he grows up. Trying to be ‘normal’ and fit into the society. The eagerness to please others at the expense of yourself. The need to be accepted for who you are and being praise by people. I experience that myself and it was so easy for people to just brush it off and say it’s your own fault. Let me tell the world depression is not so easy to handle and it takes God to untangle all the knots. The feeling is like walking alone in a maze and cannot get out of that darkness. People usually brush it off and say things that are irresponsible. Just listen to a depressed person if you don’t know what to say and pray for that person. 

Now as I am writing this article, I am also in the process of healing and feeling wholesome again. I was being neglected when I was young. My dad was an alcoholic and often came home in a drunken state and there were days I did not see him. He was an absent father in my life and I used to hate him. I hated my family a lot due to frequent fights and quarreling about financial issue. There was no peace in the family and I only see my Mother struggle to make end meets and to raise us up by herself. I was the youngest in the family but there were many issues and problems which I want to escape in life. In school I was bullied frequently and I don’t know how to handle the situation. I felt humiliated and angry with myself for being timid and unable to stand up for myself. I had low self-esteem and wanted so much to be accepted. However, I was disappointed again and again. Too much discouragement till I decided to isolate myself and my feelings from the world. That point of time i wanted so much to just disappear from the world and escape from everything. I live my life drifting away in my own world where there is no hurt and anguish as a way of self defence. 

There was once I almost jump down from my house because I can’t carry the burden anymore and I felt so tired of life. The weariness and disheartening situation cause my mental state to identify death as the only way to escape. I was in my primary school uniform when I was getting ready to jump down. My mother who was a baby sitter at that time took care of a little boy. I was going to proceed with my plan when the little boy suddenly appear behind me and ask me what am I doing. I did not want to scare the boy and said that I was looking out of the window. That was the first time I attempted suicide but was miraculously stop at the critical moment. 

The second time I truly wanted to commit the deed again was a few months ago that triggered my mental state again. I was facing some challenges at work. There was a friend that I look up to and respect due to her seniority. She was an ex-colleague that apparently seem concern about me. However, she started to poison my mind with words of condemnation. When someone is hurting inside, you should not throw stone at the person. After I share with her my pain, she told me that she will advice her son not to follow my path and not to be like me. I was so hurt and her evil tongue was like a sword that stab deeper into my wound. I was so angry at her but I hated myself even more for agreeing with her that I have a major problem. She only led me to look into my past and myself. Having experience the pain of self condemnation, when I read the article about Jonghyun seeking professional help, I was so angry. He could be save if only some one just counsel him with patience and lead him to God instead of himself. 

It was a social norm that as you grow older, people and the society have more expectation of you. At some point of time, i put on unnecessary stress on myself and compare myself with others. It’s the little things that accumulate, little by little till it explode one day like a bombshell. To describe depression, it just hit you like a heatwave. It overwhelms, suffocate and haunting you down. Having sleepless nights, anxiety, crying yourself to sleep. All these daily stress and mind game, just keep on replaying all the past failure and condemnation in the head. It is like a domino effect that start to hit all the bad experiences in life. Words that hurts, people who failed you, broken relationships, guilt and regrets. 

There was a point in my life where I was also desperate for help and wanted to die due to all the judgemental people. I felt that work demanded so much from me and I was so inadequate and incapable to handle it. My life seem hopeless and death seem to be the only easy way out. I was dealt with another blow in life and walk near the road aimlessly when I plan to step out to the road and get myself into a car accident. I hesitated and thought to myself, i will give myself a last chance to try and call someone and I decided that if no one answered the phone i will just go ahead and die thinking it was meant to be like this. I was meant to be gone and away from this suffering in my mind. It was a torture at that  point of time and I wanted to say my final farewell but I broke into tears when my friend answers the phone. The concern and shock in her voice till this day I still remember. I was guilty for scaring her with my sudden outburst. I told her I can’t live on anymore and I wanted to just say my goodbye. She kept asking me where am I and I just cried helplessly. There were so much pain in me that I just wanted to escape. It was a domino effect when I linked my past to this day and I felt so pain that I cannot breath anymore. 

Similarly, weeks before that fatal day, Jong Hyun had been crying for help in his own ways. He wanted to put on a brave front for the world and he cannot express his anguish and sadness because he need to project the perfect idol image to the world. He knew that he needed help and he was losing control. He had his breakdowns and he tried to pull himself together. Friends and family knew his condition but they believed that since he is seeking help with a psychiatrist, he will get better. He was neglected and was lonely all this while. The devil wanted human to live in a lonely island where he can be attacked and devoured totally. 

I believe the final straw was the ‘doctor’ putting the blame on him. The doctor whom he trusted and shared the feelings that he was tormented. In the end, the doctor stated that all the trouble was because of his personality. If he could help himself, do you think he need to see a doctor? He was supposed to give professional advice but what did he do? He press the final button to Jonghyun death. The last thing that a depressed person need to hear is someone blaming him for everything. He was already feeling lacking and the doctor keep asking him to dig deeper into his wound! I was extremely anguish when I read this part in the suicide note. He was experiencing self condemnation and what the doctor did drove him to his grave. If he can save himself, he do not need professional help! 

In my opinion, Jonghyun did not want to die and he was hanging on to the last hope, last second that something or someone can come and stop him from hurting himself. He did wanted attention and hope that people around will notice his struggle. But everyone is busy with their own life and since nobody knows what is going though his mind, his emotion too over. He did hesitated to go through his plan and he was having a fight within himself mentally and physically, till he feel the anguish again. This time he was determined to put his thoughts into action. He was stubborn till the end and insisted to end things in his own ways. Finally, he closed his eyes with hopelessness and gave up on this world.

G-dragon Girlfriend Nana Komatsu

Leaked photos from G-Dragon's private Instagram account have revealed his relationship with Nana Komatsu.

Rumors began to emerge earlier this year, when G-dragon (27 years old) and Nana (20 years old) were spotted at a restaurant together in Tokyo. The two had also worked together on an intimate photoshoot for Nylon Magazine, earlier in March of this year.

However, fans and reporters began to assume that the two were much closer than they had let on. The two were again caught in rumors when they were spotted wearing the same styled white bracelet, reminiscent of couple jewelry.

My thoughts 

When will celebrites ever learn their lesson not to post private picture or open a private account in the social media and still expect to maintain their "privacy"? These Korean artistes live under the public eyes. How can they expect to hide their private life when they actually volunteer to put their personal stuffs in the social media at the first place? 

It is only a matter of time before any hacker goes into the social media system and retrieve their personal informations. This unfortunate incident happened to the Big Bang leader G-dragon. He does not like to talk about his private life to the media. We knew that his previous relationship with Kiko waswidely publicise. However, G-dragon has never comment about this matter. 

Actions speaks louder than words. We do see some intimate photograph of G-dragon and Nana. Even if YG entertainment did not issue any statement, we are certain that G-dragon is dating Nana now. Taeyang even suggested in his private Instagram to produce a song titled Lovers. It was obvious that these two lovebirds are currently into each other. 

Later on, G-dragon posted this picture in his official Instagram. He must be feeling terrible that this unfortunate incident happened to him. G-dragon is a famous musician that has been in K-pop industry for many years, I am surprised that he is so careless in handling his personal matters. 

Looking back at the girls that caught the eyes of our handsome leader, I noticed that G-dragon seem to adore Japanese models. Indeed, he has a unique taste in women that are docile and exotic.  I can hear the heart of his fan girls breaking into pieces. Don't forget that G-Dragon is going into military soon. Big Bang Seungri involved in car accident

SBS News recently reported that Big Bang's Seungri was undergoing surgery for his liver due to his recent accident, worrying fans. However, YG Entertainment once again assured that the idol is okay and that his injuries are not severe.

An agency rep stated, "The report that [Seungri] injured his liver and is undergoing surgery for it is false... Although he sustained slight internal bleeding, the medical team made the diagnosis that it's something that will be fully healed if he takes it easy for a week." 

Another rep added, "It's true he hurt his liver, but he's just receiving treatment, not undergoing surgery. We expect him to stay at the hospital for about a week. He will participate in the investigation with the police after he finishes his treatment."

As mentioned before, the police have confirmed that Seungri was not drunk driving, but they are still looking into the exact cause of the accident.

Let's hope Seungri gets plenty of rest and stability so that he gets back to feeling his best soon. 

My thoughts 

Seungri was absent from the YG family concert held in Singapore due to this unforeseen incident. There were rumors that Seungri was not wearing seatbelt at that time and was speeding during the journey. 

Due to the accident involving celebrities, it rised the alarm for the public regarding road safety. Hopefully, there will not be any bad news about celebrities getting into accident. It was really sad to hear all these tragic accidents.

To the relief of Big Bang's Seungri fans, at least one thing is clear and that is Seungri was not drunk driving during the accident. Eariler this year, Leessang Gil was arrested for drunk driving. Following the arrest, he had to temporary stop all his activities in the Entertainment. All celebrities have a public image to maintain, hopefully this incident will teach others a lesson about the consequences of drink driving.

KBS Open Concert to air RiSe and EunB final Ladies Code performance

On September 11, KBS 1TV revealed their decision to broadcast  Rise and EunB last performance with Ladies Code 'Open Concert' with no editing. The girls took part in the recording back on September 2 before the tragic car accident. In the end, KBS decided to keep the performance in 'Open Concert' when it airs on September 14.

The production crew stated, "We carefully discussed whether we should broadcast Ladies' Code after their two precious colleagues left the world following a tragic car accident at daybreak on September 3 with this being their last performance. We respected the bereaved family and the agency's views that they would like the stage in which the deceased did their best to the very end to be prettily broadcasted, so we decided to show it as originally planned."

According to eariler report from Soompi, Ladies’ Code recently got into an accident on September 3 following the recording for “Open Concert,” which took place the night before. This performance will be their last as a whole group, including the late EunBand RiSe.

Meanwhile, the accident took place at 1:30 am on September 3 on a highway in Incheon. As they were driving in the rain they slipped as a tire fell out. Consequently, they hit a wall on the road. Member EunB passed away immediately, and RiSe received surgery despite being in critical condition. She passed away four days later without regaining consciousness. Member Sojung also received surgery for facial fractures and is currently recovering. Ashley and Zuny also received hospital care after sustaining some minor injuries.

My thoughts

It was indeed a heartbreaking tragic news for all their fans. It must be terrible for the families and friends of the decease. Super Junior Heechul had tweet about his thoughts about this incident and urged everyone to remember to put on the seat belt when traveling on the road. Especially since celebrities usually have to travel around to perform. Super Junior and some celebrities were seen paying their respect during the funeral. Rest in peace EunB and RiSe.

Alleged Nude Photos Of Ailee Surface Online

Photos allegedly of Ailee posing naked for the camera have surfaced online, igniting an instant controversy.

In the photos, all of Ailee's private parts were exposed in a series of low-light images. The woman in the photos poses in several different ways to best show off the sexual aspects of her body.

After initial reports of the images surfaced, netizens quickly rushed to verify whether the woman in the photos was in fact Ailee. Some of screen captured YouTube videos of the singer singing in her room, pointing out that the details in the doors matched the nude photos.

It is currently unclear whether the photos are of Ailee or not. However, a scandal will undoubtedly lead to future consequences for the singer.

At the time of publishing, no statement regarding the incident has been made by the artist or her agency.

My thoughts

Ailee is a talented singer and it will be such a waste to see her career goes down the drain because of this photo scandal. These nude photo were taken when she was younger. To some extend, everyone makes mistake in their life. She did not commit a crime and those photos were allegedly posted by her ex-boyfriend. In this event, she is a victim and is probably sadden and shaken by this incident.

Although her agency did not clarify this photo scandal yet, it was believed that the person in the photo is Ailee. Nonetheless, Ailee is a good singer and I think she is one of the few female singers who is able to sing very well. Hopefully, this scandal will blow off soon and Ailee will make a strong comeback for her fans.
