Summary:

Zhou Ji Wei remembered that she came across a newspaper article about old style dating poem. That was the standard procedure of dating during the olden time. Interestingly, she imagined that her partner is Dai Yao Qi. Back to the present, Ji Wei was struck in the middle between Yuan Fang and Dai Yao Qi at the Family mart. Note: The love rivals met each other. 

Dai Yao Qi appeared to be very angry and left with the abandoned dog. Ji Wei left Yuan Fang at the Family mart and chased after Dai Yao Qi. However, he took a cab immediately and ignored Ji Wei. Soon, he was asked to alight because of the smell of the abandoned dog. Feeling depressed, Dai Yao Qi sighed deeply at the thought of being "abandoned". The next day, Ji Wei bathe the dog while Dai Yao Qi was looking at her. There was something weird about Dai Yao Qi behavior. Ji Wei suspect that he is jeolous because of the incident but she immediately brushes it off as thinking too much. 

Ji Wei return home for reunion dinner. Her father specially fetched her home. The family was concerned about her love life and kept asking her to share about her "engineer" boyfriend. Surprisingly, Ji Wei elder sister Ji Ru announced about her intention to get married by the end of the year. Everyone was shocked since none of them know that Ji Ru have a boyfriend all these while. After getting over the initial shocked, Ji Wei congratulate her sister Ji Ru. She revealed to Ji Wei that her boyfriend is a single parent, therefore she is certain that their parents will definitely object to their relationship. 

Ji Wei get ready to return to Taipei, her father shared with her about his concern about being a parent. He revealed a secret that he had been hiding for years. Dai Yao Qi had been sending her letters all these years but he had kept it from her all these while. He asked Ji Wei for understanding from a parent perspective and advice not to dwell on it since she has a boyfriend already. The reason for keeping Dai Yao Qi away from her is because he always gets into trouble. Indeed, at the eatery store Dai Yao Qi got into a fight and was send to the police station under detention. At night, Ji Wei heard a noise outside the room and went out to look for Dai Yao Qi. She was surprised to see the bruise on his forehead. He requested Ji Wei to keep this matter away from his grandmother. 

At the speed delivery shop, Mei Jie was very sensitive and paranoid of Zhou Ji Wei. She was wary of her every movements and kept observing her. Yuan Fang came by and passed a box of tangerines to Ji Wei. Mei Jie was looking suspiously at the both of them. She heaved a sigh of relief when she found out that Ji Wei and Yuan Fang are not lovers. However, she mistook Ji Wei when her mother called her and she said that her boyfriend is Yuan Fang. Feeling betrayed by Ji Wei, Mei Jie refused to listen to her explanation. 

It was raining, Yuan Fang and Ji Wei met at the building. Ji Wei felt guilty for lying and asked Yuan Fang for forgiveness. However, Ji Wei was surprised when Yuan Fang asked her," Am I handsome in your story?" Ji Wei hesitated and replied quite handsome. He nodded his head and smiled contentedly. 

Dai Yao Qi spend some time with his grandmother and dine with her at home. He was still clearly affected by Ji Wei "new boyfriend". Soon, Ji Wei came home and the three of them looked like a family dining together. Dai Yao Qi grandmother was so happy that she sang a small part of soap opera. After tucking grandmother to bed, Dai Yao Qi sat at the living room with Ji Wei. They thought about their childhood and those happy moments. Both of them hide their heartache since they know that they cannot be together. The next day, Yuan fang came to the speed delivery shop to look for Ji Wei for lunch. 

Yuan Fang and Ji Wei dated like the old style dating poem. I wondered how does this mysterious guy know about Zhou Ji Wei thoughts? Anyway, they spend a great time together watching movie DVD at Yuan Fang grandparents house. At the family restuarant, Ah Bing ge and Dai Yao Qi suddenly appeared. Apparently, they had followed the both of them all these while. Ah Bing ge interrogated Yuan Fang background and asked him why did he like Zhou Ji Wei while acting like a concerned brother. Dai Yao Qi listened attentively to Yuan Fang description about why he like Ji Wei. It seems like Yuan Fang really like Ji Wei but she still thought that they are just acting like a couple. 

Yuan Fang walk Ji Wei home while holding hands. On the other hand, Ah Bing ge had a drink with Dai Yao Qi and both of them had a heart to heart conversation. Ah Bing ge noticed that Dai Yao Qi does not only want to be Ji Wei "brother". He asked Dai Yao Qi to closed his eyes and imagine that Yuan Fang and Ji Wei kisses and what is his reaction. Dai Yao Qi could not stand it and sulk at the thought of them kissing. To hide his feeling, Dai Yao Qi immediately walked away. Ah Bing ge asked him why did he want to be Ji Wei brother, he replied because siblings can be forever. However, Ah Bing ge disagreed since he had lost his sister. He advice Dai Yao Qi to treasure the present. 

Both Dai Yao Qi and Zhou Ji Wei lie on the bed deep in thoughts. Dai Yao Qi contact Shao min for comfort and on the other hand, Yuan Fang asked for a date with Ji Wei. The next day, Ji Wei wore a pair of shorts for the date. Dai Yao Qi noticed and instructed her to change her shorts. He looked displeased that Zhou Ji Wei is going for a date. After Ji Wei left the house, Dai Yao Qi went to the market to purchase some groceries. His grandmother smiled happily at Dai Yao Qi as he closed that door. That was the final goodbye and the last that he saw of his grandmother. The seven sadness is - Forgotten to say Goodbye. 

My thoughts

That was the first time I have ever heard of old style dating poem. I think it was rather interesting to see how this method was used in this episode. Everybody have their own ideal date and how they wanted to execute this plan. It was dreamy to have a date exactly what we wanted. The old style dating method is a guideline for lovers with a few steps to follow. Everything sounds so pure, old school and innocent. In this modern society, do we still execute these methods? Mostly not. 

Dai Yao Qi was clearly affected by the incident at the family mart. Finally, he met his love rival Yuan Fang. This period of time, Dai Yao Qi do not seem to miss Shao Min and only looked for her to give him some comfort from his misery. His eyes only have Zhou Ji Wei and he hide his feelings inside his heart. Not even his grandmother seem to be aware of his feeling for Ji Wei. 

I like the rapport between Dai Yao Qi and his grandmother. I can feel his love for his grandmother and sadly anticipate what will happen soon. This taught us to treasure what we have and not to regret later on in life. Life is indeed fragile and once a person is gone, everything remains as memories for the people that are still living. Ah Bing Ge was right when he advice Dai Yao Qi to treasure the present. We never know what will happen the next second. 

It is understandable why Zhou Ji Wei parents object to Dai Yao Qi and their daughter relationship. As parents, they naturally does things that they think is the best for their child. They will go to the extra mile to protect their children from getting hurt. I know Ji Wei have good parents. They are traditional caring parents that have their children interest at heart. 

At the same time, I felt contradictive about this matter. If parents are over protective about their child to the extend of placing walls around the child to prevent harm, is that necessary? There are things which parents have to learn to let go and not to deprive their child from opportunities in life. Come what may, everybody have the right to make their own decision and chose their own path. Perhaps that is easier said than done. Parents will always be worried about their own children and letting go is also a learning process.

Min Joon overheard Kwi Kyung confession and freezes the time, afraid of the answer. 

Before he left, he unfreeze the time. Song  Yi felt something strange and she told Kwi Kyung that she almost agreed to accepting him just a second ago but had since changed her mind. 

Despite that, Kwi Kyung did not give up, he hugged Song Yi and said that he will work harder to win her love. 

Min Joon drove his car up the Clift to the city. The place looked like the Clift where Yi Hwa died. This was the first time Min Joon encountered death on this earth.

Back to Min Joon interview at the library. He mentioned that in the past, he is not worried that people had forgotten about him in this world as he is going to a different world. However, now he was afraid of being forgotten by someone. It just happened when he is about to go to a different world. 

Kwi Kyung head to the bar for a drink after being rejected by Song Yi. He met Se Mi and confided in her. 

Song Yi's mother and her brother came to Song Yi house uninvited. They pressed the doorbell but nobody answer the door.  Song Yi mother guessed her pin number 1111. Bingo! They let themselves into her house to the surprise of Song Yi. 

Her little brother received a gift from a fan. It turns out that the gift was from an anti fan. When they opened the gift, they had a shock as there was a dead mouse inside and a note written,"you shall die too!" Yoon Jae ran down to catch the deliverer but he had rode off in his motorbike. 

Yoon Jae suggested reporting this to the police. Their mother disagreed and Song Yi tried to play it down by stating that she has many anti fans and also fans who supported her as she pointed to a teddy Bear given by a fan. She reassured her family that she has a manager/bodyguard now. Song Yi mother asked about her date with Kwi kyung and was disappointed that they did not get together. 

Min Joon rode an elevator up and his ears picks up on their conversation, he relaxes when he heard that Song Yi had rejected Kwi Kyung. 

Upon his arrival, Song Yi grabbed his arm and introduced him to her family. She mentioned that Min Joon is his manager who studied in Harvard, speak English and he lives next door. Min Joon tried to denied it but was stopped by Song Yi. She shoved her family into the lift and Min Joon barked at her for linking their arms together. Song Yi said that he should be used to it because he studied in America. Min Joon replied that he did not have any friend in America. 

Min Joon also said that he did not agree to be her manager. However, hid curtness soften with one look on Song Yi face. She confided in Min Joon that she had received threatening from anti fans. In the end, Min Joon took her in by her hand and invited her into his house. 

Song Yi confided in Min Joon about Kwi Kyung proposal at the amusement park. She revealed that she will soon be broke and she should consider Kwi Kyung proposal. Min Joon barked at her not to accept the proposal citing an ancient text which means not to take marriage lightly. Song Yi used this quote to hint at Min Joon to help her neighbor who is in trouble. 

Min Joon used his telekinetic power to pull the books from the bookshelves. He chose one book from the library. It was the book which he read earlier - Miraculous  journey. 

Over breakfast, Se Mi asked her brother about the man at the boat in the CCTV photo. Seok chided her for looking at his investigation profile. He admitted that he is still trying to find out who he is. 

Min Joon received a summon from the police station. He went to the police station to assist in the police investigation. He said that the security camera in his apartment can prove that he was at home during that time. The suicide handwriting was also confirmed to belong to Yura. 

Song Yi messed up Min Joon house with litters everywhere. Out of habit, he called Manager Bum. He overheard the director praising Se Mi. 

Min Joon retrieved his voicemail and the first call is from the Manhwa store to ask him to return the adult manga books which Song Yi borrowed. The second call is from Song Yi who barked at him to purchase a cellphone. Min Joon smiled and the next minute he went to the hand phone store and brought a phone. 

Kwi Kyung proposed a business idea to his father. He asked his father to open an entertainment agency for Song Yi. His father reached for the golf clubs with the intent to knock some sense into him. However, he relented at his son passion for Song Yi. He stated that it does not mean that he can marry Song Yi although he agree to give the idea a shot. Kwi Kyung cheekily said that he only need her approval.

Song Yi watched some commercials about exercising the abs. She was about to reach out for the phone, when Min Joon called using his newly purchased phone. She asked him to hurry back for a business meeting. 

The proposal was basically about her plan to lose weight in preparation for future food advertisements. Min Joon almost roll his eyes when Song Yi ask him to take note of the dinner menus. 

Min Joon almost turn a delivery man away when Song Yi revealed that she had ordered all these stuffs from the television. Manager Do was asked to sign the package. Min Joon resigned and accepted the delivery. 

Song Yi ordered crab to go with the rice. However, there wasn't much meat in the crab. Min Joon practically called her an idiot for purchasing things without finding out. Song Yi wanted to have her dinner seated infront of the television to watch her drama. Min Joon put his foot down at this suggestion, only to relent when Song Yi gave a puppy look. 

At the coffee table, Song Yi and Min Joon watched the drama starring Se Mi. Song Yi criticized Se Mi acting and predict that the ratings will go down. She was proved wrong as the next day, Se Mi celebrate the drama high ratings with the crew. 

Lawyer Jang was surprised to see Min Joon holding a new cell phone. He had urged Min Joon to buy a cellphone a long time ago and he never did. Lawyer Jang checked his cellphone and was annoyed that the fist name is Song Yi instead of him. Min Joon hilariously tried to explained that Lawyer Jang name is number two. Eventually, Min Joon offered to change the position of the name to appease Lawyer Jang but he said that is being childish. 

Song Yi called Min Joon and asked him to be her lunch partner. Lawyer Jang was  annoyed to hear that and Min Joon told Song Yi to eat udon at home while he took Lawyer Jang to eat udon for lunch. 

Bum showed up at Song Yi doorstep and delivered her purse that was left at the boat. He missed Song Yi 'torture' and hope to be her manager again. 

Song Yi accidentally dropped the clutch and found a flash drive. She picked it up  and inserted into her laptop. She placed the teddy bear nearby as she watched the video footage. There was a suspicious image  and apparently Yura was involved. 

During lunch, Lawyer Jang was surprised that he eat with him as this is something he usually will not do. Min Joon confided in him about the changes in him. Now he even feel cold and he wonders does this have something to do with his departure from Earth? 

Min Joon came back home while Song Yi watched the video halfway. With his supernatural senses, Min Joon discovered a hidden device in the teddy bear eyes. He pulled the device out and indeed someone was tagging their movement. 

Jae Kyung looked at his laptop and gave a evil smile. He took out his phone and ordered someone to do something for him. Meanwhile Kwi Kyung arrived at his brother office and arranged for a meal with Song Yi. After Kwi Kyung left, he murmured to himself,"we will not get to see her tomorrow." 

Song Yi received a phone call from the boutique to shop for new additions. Min Joon drove Song Yi to the boutique and she asked Min Joon to wait for her in the car. 

She met Se Mi at the boutique and had a conversation with her. It turned out that Se Mi had always harbor a grudge against Song Yi and she had never treated her as a friend. Although Song Yi was deeply hurt, she put on a brave front and stated that although she was in a bad situation, it helped her to see clearly who is on her side and who isn't. 

Song Yi walked out of the boutique and Min Joon saw a mysterious man in a mask dropped a heavy vase at the balcony. Within a split second, Min Joon teleport himself from the car to Song Yi side and shield her from the shattering glass. Min Joon carried song Yi up while Se Mi exit from the boutique. She was surprised to see Min Joon who resemble the man in the photo that she took years ago. Her suspicious became more concrete.

Song Yi was send to the hospital for a checkup while Min Joon received a call from the police station stating that they had captured the culprit. Song Yi send Min Joon off but before he go, Song Yi asked Min Joon how did he save her in such a short time. Min Joon freezes for a second, and replied she saw wrongly.

A short while later, a masked doctor came into the room. It was Jae Kyung secretary. He injected something into Song Yi IV drip. Once she is unconscious, he  wheeled her out of the room. 

On the other hand, Min Joon was giving his testimony at the police station. The prep was an anti fan punk who just wanted to play a plank on Song Yi. However, he stated clearly that he did not plant the device in the teddy bear. Min Joon wonders if there is someone else who wanted to harm Song Yi. He called Song Yi but nobody answer the phone.

Song Yi woke up from the drugging and was terrified to find herself in the driver seat as the car accelerate down the mountain. She beg for help and scream for Min Joon to rescue her.  Min Joon arrived at the hospital but Song Yi disappeared. He sharpened his hearing and listen intently. 

The next moment, Min Joon appeared out of the thin air and slammed on the hook of the car. He used his whole weight to put a stop to the moving vehicle. The car screeched into a halt while it almost fall down the cliff. 

Snow falls, Song Yi slowly lifted her head and found Min Joon infront of the car. 

Epilogue 

Song Yi was seen groofing around with the teddy bear. She placed the teddy bear nearby when she view the video clip from the flash drive. That was until Min Joon saw the camera and pulled out the device. Yes, we got the confirmation that Jae Kyung was at the other end, viewing the whole scenario from his laptop.

I enjoyed the friendship of Lawyer Jang and Min Joon. In my opinion, they look like father and son. This is one of the highlight of this show. It is a blessing to have a friend like Lawyer Jang whom Min Joon could confide in. I love the part where Lawyer Jang was disappointed that he is not the first name in Min Joon cellphone. Their relationship is like the best buddies in the world. I think it was nice of Min Joon to be considerate of Lawyer Jang feeling and even offer to have lunch with him. 

Don't you love this couple? Min Joon have a soft spot for Song Yi and we all know that. The way he protected Song Yi and rescue her is simply amazing. I love this hero who is always there for his lady. Although he could not tell her the truth, he had been secretly protecting her. This is so touching and I envied Song Yi for having two men ( Kwi Kyung and Min Joon) who cares for her deeply. Oh, Manager Bum is funny and he genuinely care for Song Yi too. 

Jun Ji Hyun is a tad too old to act cute in my opinion. However, she make it up with her onscreen charisma. Just like what I had previously mentioned, Song Yi look like Min Joon elder sister in this drama. That being said, I think it is also a fresh  idea to pair this couple up. Since Jun Ji Hyun  acting is natural, I am convinced that Song Yi processed these cute and childlike mannerisms. 

I am excited about the next episode when Song Yi saw Min Joon. Will she discover Min Joon identity? What will pathetic Se Mi do? What is the next move from the evil Jae Kyung?

Good Doctor Episode 7

Afterthought 

Although I expected this to happen to Shi-on, I did not expect Doctor Choi and Yeon-Seo to turn their back on him. Why must he take the blame when he is not at fault at the first place? Why is he involved in a dirty political mind game? That creepy chairman and the vice chairman is freaking me out and I have no idea what is going on in their mind. Yes I know it is all man for themselves and the idea of scheming to achieve one's goal. In the midst of the power struggle, they have to step on other people, negotiate to protect their interest and keeping a pretense.

Ultimately, the people who will suffer and used as a pawn to overthrow the chairman will be Do-Han and Shi-on. Everything they does were under a pair of watchful eyes and those evil people playing dirty tricks to Path a way to success, gladly step on others to gain benefits. Even hospital is not spared from those conspiracies.

Despite all the political game, the drama still focuses on the nature of doctor's job and the challenges they faced daily. I am happy to know that Shi-on mum is working at the same hospital as him. However, i still dislike the fact that she abandoned Shi-on when he was young. I mean, how can she do that to shi-on? Eun-ok guardian who is her auntie is so ugly and even demand to have her niece back! She has the cheek to come and collect Eun-ok after all that she had done? Is she a sadistic person that abused a young kid? That can never be condoned and I am glad that the hospital staffs tried their best to protect Eun-ok.

Rich Man, Poor woman: Episode 7

Next Innovation issued out an email to stop operation. The staffs were supposed to enjoy their unexpected holidays at the beach but they felt weird as they were supposed to be working. Makoto was still worried about the company and was hilariously mistaken as a local there. Next Innovation is reported on the news and many people were talking it. Makoto looked at the missed calls on the hand phone, while the rest get ready to go back. In the end, they decided to go back to the company and help out in the situation.

Asahina talked about the cash flow problems and the suspension of business. He revealed to Hyuga that he like Makoto although she rejected him. Hyuga replied that it does not matter to him. Yasuako and the staffs came back to the office to work after their short break. Makoto apologized to Hyuga for the missed calls and promised to bring her hand phone everywhere she goes. Hyuga was depressed with the whole situation and Makoto encouraged him by stating that he is not only surrounded only by enemies and there are people who will follow him. Hyuga replied that the option out of this situation is endless.

Hyuga talked to Asahina that he intends to compensate all the people who are affected by this incident. Even to the expense of selling some of his shares to raise 500 million for the compensation, he saw the need to rebuild public confidence of the company. Makoto received a phone call from a pharmaceutical institute to go for an interview as researcher. Receiving the job offer means an employment opportunity but Makoto is not really happy about it because she has five more days to work in Next Innovation. On the other hand, Yoko and the chef Nogi opened cookery classes to recover the loss of the Restaurant and was met with good results.

Yoko met Makoto near the restaurant and dragged along for a drink. It was an awkward situation as they arrived at the pub and met Hyuga and Aashina. They sat down together and Yoko announced that Makoto will be working in a pharmaceutical company. Hyuga wished her all the best for her next venture in the company. However, Makoto was confused as her heart desire to follow President Hyuga. Visibly touched by her words, Hyuga turned around and told her not to place her future in a stake of emotions and that she should not be confused.

Yoko accidentally discovered her brother plot to ruin Hyuga and was shocked by the discovery. The stock market of Next Innovation shot up and Hyuga felt that the timing is right to bring up personal file to the board of directors again. Although, the compensation matter was settled but the board of directors was unhappy with their loss and voted to cast Hyuga out as a president. Instead, Asahina was nominated as the president of Next Innovation.

Unable to deal with the blow, Hyuga locked himself in the room. News leaked out in the company and Hyuga was dismissed from the company. On the other hand, asahina rejoiced with the news as Hyuga held a press conference and officially stepped down as President of Next Innovation.

Summary

Hong Chul intended to reveal who is her biological mother, when Geum Hee stepped into the room. He started acting strangely, however, no words come out of his mouth to the alarm of Hae Joo. Hong Chul took his last breath, closed his eyes and passed away. Chang Hee, In Hwa and Butler Park stood outside the room as they heard the loud wailing of Hae Joo in the room. Everyone was shocked, especially Butler Park who stood trembling in fear, guilty of casing Hong Chul death.

Butler Park arranged the funeral for Hong Chul, on the other hand, Chang Hee and In Hwa were consoling Hae Joo who blamed herself for her father death. Butler Park went back to report to President Jang about Hong Chul death when they were informed about the pear incident where his men were arrested for poisoning the land.

Butler Park try his best to find the yellow sweater before, Hae Joo and her family come back. He found a piece of paper, that has a phone number and a bank account number. Upon hearing Hae Joo and her family return, he regained his composure and stepped out of the house calmly. Sang Tae noticed Butler Park secretly exit from their house and questioned his motive for sneaking in without permission. Butler Park tossed out the excuse that he is sorting out Hong Chul belongings.

Soon, the police came knocking on their door and they asked Hae Joo to recall the accident in search of the culprit. In the process, Hae Joo revealed that her father death was indirectly caused by her. Angered by the fact that she caused the tragedy, Hae Joo stepmother ordered her to get out of the house. However, Sang Tae defended her and stated that they should blame the culprit who ran father over. Nonetheless, Hae Joo was thrown out of the house by her stepmother as she stood in the rain begging for forgiveness.

Chang Hee and Kang San carried Hae Joo to her stepmother house and informed them that she had fallen sick. Hae Joo was allowed to stay in the house, Kang San reprimanded Sang Tae for not standing up for Hae Joo and he said that he dare not do so, therefore, he asked for their help. On the other hand, Butler Park refrained Chang Hee from coming to the house.

It was late at night, Hae Joo dreamed of her father talking to her. She woke up and ate the bowl of porridge that her stepmother had prepared for her. On the other side of the room, her stepmother was in labor pain. Sang Tae was sent to look for the granny but he was obstructed by a dog. Hae Joo helped to delivered her baby sister and promised her mother to take good care of the baby.

Displeased by the slow progress of acquiring the pear orchard, President Jang intend to use underhand methods to achieve his goal. Butler Park exclaimed that the yellow sweater was thrown away by his family and President Jang accepted that reasoning.

President Kang shipping company was investigated due to the false information send out by President Jang. Angered by the set up, President Kang looked for President Jang and was humiliated by the latter. All these scene was witnessed by Kang San who listened to the conversations.

Chang Hee came to visit Hae Joo and was informed by Sang Tae that the town is going to torn down. Jeong Woo and Bong Hee protested against the acquisition of the land. Hae Joo joined in, but they were soon taken away which spark the protest from the whole village. Butler Park intervened and Chang Hee went to his father. Hae Joo overheard their conversation and was upset that Butler Park forbid Chang Hee from seeing her.

Bong Hee went to looked for President Jang to clarified the issue. She was surprised to know that President Jang intend to build a ship plant and make drilling ships in search of oil. He mentioned that the late Hak Soo also believed that there is oil in that area. Bong Hee disagreed with his reasoning. On the other side, Jeong Woo looked for Geum Hee and told her about this matter.

Hae Joo cooked seaweed soup for her mother after she sold the dress that Geum Hee gave her. She promised to try her best to look for job to support the family. When President Jang came home, Il moon said to him that it was so long since they visited mother grave. However, President Jang gave a stern expression and warned him not to mention this in front of In Hwa and to only acknowledge Geum Hee as his mother.

Geum Hee was displeased with President Jang for stepping into the Pear Orchard. In order to calm her down, he pretended to give a phone call and gave the instructions to compensate the villagers. In the middle of the night, Hae Joo woke and saw the boots which her father left behind. Jeong Woo came to look for her and was worried that she is staying outside alone. Therefore, he invited her to come to his house and warmly welcomed her. She found a letter on the floor which was addressed to 'Yoo Jin'. She requested to read the content of the letter and was deeply moved by the love of the father to his daughter Yoo Jin.

Bong Hee announce to Jeong Woo about the compensation to the villagers. Hae Joo and her mother were excited about the news only to be disappointed that they cannot receive the compensation because they only lived there for a month. Jeong Woo was surprised that his house was torn down and he was arrested for instigating violence and obstruction of law. Bong Hee was told to look after Hae Joo and her family.

It was raining heavily, Hae Joo and family were force to move out of the house. They sought shelter from the rain when they started to feel hungry. Hae Joo cooked some porridge but they needed more firewood and Hae Joo volunteer to look for some. While she was about to set off, Sang Tae sneak some porridge into his mouth but it was too hot and he spilt it out and in the process knocked over the pot of porridge. Everybody started crying as Hae Joo struggled to hold back her tears.

Review

I was sad to know that Hong Chul died in this drama. However, that was not a surprise at all as it was all part of the plot to get everything going. I was also disgusted with President Park for being a hypocrite infornt of Geum Hee. The secret regarding In Hwa and Il Moon biological mother was a mystery and got me interested in finding out based on President Jang expressions when Il Moon mentioned about his mother grave. 

Hae Joo stepmother revealed a bit of care towards Hae Joo in this episode. Indeed, she was frustrated and angry over the fact that she caused Hong Chul death indirectly but in the end, she still accepted her into the house again. I believe partially that she knows that she needed Hae Joo even more after her husband death. Since she need to take care of Young Joo, Sang Tae and the unborn child, they need to rely on Hae Joo.

There were many crying scenes in this episode and child actress ( Kim You Jung) who played Hae Joo did very well. She was able to protray the emotions in different situations and it shows how talented she is. The other thing i would like to mentioned is Sang Tae. I was a little surprised that he would defend Hae Joo when she was asked to leave. I would like to believe that he cared for Hae Joo but i think the main reason is that he need to rely on her so she cannot leave. It was so funny that he engaged the help of Chang Hee and Kang San as he dare not speak up against his mother.

The letter that Hae Joo found in Jeong Woo house was meant to be hers. It was so sad that she did not know about her background. The content of the letter is related to the title of this drama 'May Queen'. So smart of the scriptwriter to link it to the title.

Eun Bi thought that Chi Soo wanted revenge. Unaware of his intention, she uses a pot and asked him to hit her with it if he will feel better after that and leave her alone. Upset with her gesture, Chi Soo turned and left. Unexpectedly, he stop at the door, turned around and asked whether Eun Bi is doing part time job here. Kang Hyuk replied, “of course, she is my wife.” Pleased with the answer, he told Kang Hyuk that he will do the part time job to the astonishment of the rest of the people.

Eun Bi chased Chi Soo to his car and ask him why he wanted to work here. He said that this is a practice of management for him. EunBi ask him to find somewhere else to practice. However, Chi Soo refused; instead he took out the contract and reminded her that they are co-worker now. He winked at her and left, leaving her alone on the street yelling at the sky and asked, “Why me!” Ironically, Kang Hyuk said to the other two, “ is’nt my wife great?” Haha. They gave an awkward smile instead.

The next day, there was some renovation going on in the shop. Eun Bi served some beverages for the workers. To her surprise, he told her that this is a very tough job as he seemed to do all the things by himself without any help. Eun Bi looked around and saw Ba Wool trying to hit a nail into a fence with a hammer, but it seems that he could not get it right. Then she saw hyun woo trying to paint the wall but he does not know where to start. The most hilarious part is Kang Hyuk sleeping under the table. Just then Chi Soo came into the shop, well dressed and holding a chair and a cup of coffee. He just sat in the middle and commented everyone for their hard work.

The renovation work was done and everyone stood outside the shop. They were happy and satisfied that the shop will be open soon. At the supermarket, Eun Bi keeps pestering Kang Hyuk to cancel Chi Soo appointment. At the same time, Ba Wool came along and keeps whining to Kang Hyuk that he does not want to share a room with Hyun Woo. Both of them started to act like a kid and became whiny with Kang Hyuk.

Ba Wool came into the room baring his upper body and he was surprised to see Hyun Woo doing some facial. He was curious why Chi Soo came to work, instead of giving a straight answer, Hyun Woo placed a blanket on Ba wool worried that he is cold. But Ba Wool was disgusted with his gesture. On the other hand, Mr Cha was worried about Chi Soo and was puzzled that he took up the part time job. However, Chi Soo avoided his questioning. At the same time, we discovered that Eun Bi father shop was the one that they plan to acquire.

The next day, the team was all ready to open the ramyun shop for business. The customers, mostly ladies were attracted to the handsome men in the shop so the business was blooming. Eun Bi and her friends were discussing why Chi Soo came here to work. They came to a conclusion that he is here for revenge. They started to imagine the scenario in their head.

Back at the ramyun shop, people are queuing up for the pickled radish and we find that Chi Soo was serving the pickled radish. His friends who came to visit were surprise to find Chi Soo working there. News spread fast about Chi Soo working at the ramyun shop. The newspaper had labeled him as the ‘Radish Man’. Hyun Woo asked Chi Woo to tell Eun Bi directly that he is here because of her. Just then, a group of men in black came and Hyun Woo ran away. Chi Soo found out that Hyun Woo father had incurred a huge sum of debts and they are the debt collectors. To ensure the safety of everyone, Chi Soo asked Mr Cha men to install a surveillance camera at the entrance and gave instruction to hit a group of men dressed in black when they come by.

Ba Wool friends dressed formally in black came to visit him at the ramyun shop and they met So Yi along the way. On the other hand, Kang Hyuk cooked a delicious bowl of curry ramyun for Ba Wool. He asked Chi Soo if he want a bowl too, he rejected. Instead he ate a pickled radish and fantasies about Eun Bi.

Busy kneading the dough, Eun Bi hair was all messed up. A pair of hands reaches for her hair from behind. This pair of hands belonged to Kang Hyuk. He gently tied her hair and commented that she is the sexiest when she uses strength. At the same time, he let her sample the broth he had just invented and his intention to place it in the menu. After he left, Eun Bi continued to knead the dough. Her hair is all over the place again and this time round a pair of hands reaches for her hair and she instinctively thought that it was Kang Hyuk. To her surprise, it was Chi Soo, Just then, Ba Wool rushed in and stop Chi Soo from being so close to Eun Bi. He accused Chi Soo for planning to take revenge on them.

Ba Wool friends on the way to the ramyun shop, because So Yi hurts her legs they were helping her. Chi Soo men thought that they were bad people and beat them up. This led to a misunderstanding between them. Desperate to clear the misunderstanding and put an end to all these, he took out the credit card and ask Hyun Woo to clear his debt to the dismay of others. He was asked to leave the ramyun shop. Upset with the event, he turned and leave the place. Coincidently, Eun Bi ex-boyfriend came in and Chi Soo remembered that they met previously in school. When asked if they are together, Chi Soo almost said that everything is over. But before he finish his sentence, Eun Bi immediately grabbed Chi Soo arm and called him ‘honey’ and Chi Soo called her, ‘my pretty baby.” Everyone was shocked at the sudden change of event.

Everybody wants to find out what actually happen. Chi Soo play coy and direct the question to Eun Bi to everyone disappointment. Eun Bi asked Chi Soo to the rooftop and asked him to act as his ‘honey’. Pretending that Eun Bi had placed him in a difficult position, Chi Soo agreed to help with a condition and that is he can see her whenever he wants.




Comments
The scene where Kang Hyuk and Chi Soo tied hair for Eun Bi was so sweet and gentle. I can see that when Kang Hyuk help to tied Eun Bi hair, she felt secure, just like a fatherly figure. I believe not only to Eun Bi, he is like an elder brother to the rest of them. On the other hand, Eun Bi was so tense and nervous whenever Chi Soo is around, it is as through Chi Soo had been sending electrical wave to Eun Bi and she could not resist him.

I sort of pity Chi Soo in this episode. He had a good intentions but the methods he uses is always wrong. But we cannot blame him as he is a rich man at the first place, furthermore, he was so well protected by his father. It is not his fault that he thought everything can settle through money. He is just a clueless and childish boy who is confused with his feelings. However, I believe he will grow up and be more mature in the coming episodes.

Despite wielding his cherry wood sword, Old Xia is unable to find any demons. Instead Xu Xu is injured and reduced to her original demon form. She loses control of herself and even attempts to eat Xia Bing. Fortunately, she is able to control herself at the most critical moment. Xu Xu begs Old Xia to kill her, but he gives her another chance.

Old Xia and company, manage to find Ye Yi's home, where there are many bottles of toad oil. They find Ye Yi in a secret chamber and they find out that the magistrate wants Ye Yi killed because of the toad oil. At this juncture, the soldiers and Long Yun arrive. Xia Bong fights with the soliers and almost falls, but Long Yun saves her; also wining her heart. Old Xia gives Xu Xu a pill, hoping to mask her demon aura, and that Long Yun would not notice that she is a demon.

Long Yun asks Old Xia to let him take Ye Yi back to the magistrate's office. Xu Xu makes some noises unintentionally, arousing Long Yun's suspicions. He dashes out of the house, but realeased Xu Xu when he finds out that she is his disciple. After the encounter with Long Yun, Xia Bing developes a crush on him and finds herself unable to sleep.

Back at the magistrate's office, Long Yun stops the magistrate from Ye Yi as he wants to use Ye Yi to lure the evil spirits out in the open. Back at Ye Yi's home, Old Xia and his disciples are looking for the demon to appear. Old Xia suspects that Ye Yi's wife, Xia Hong, is the demon and is determined to subdue her.

So while Xu Xu lures Long Yun away, as Long Yun has seen Old Xia's prowess and wants him to also take him in as a disciple, an Xia Bing infiltrating the prison to get more information from Ye Yi, Old Xia confronts Xia Hong, a demon of the bird kind. She explains that she just wanted to save her husband Ye Yi from the evil magistrate who coveted her for her beauty. We also learn the reason why Yun Long hates demons so much and wants to eliminate them all: his mother was scared to death by a wolf demon girl, whom they took in.

Meanwhile, Wang Sheng and Pang Yong release a bandit so that they would be able to find out the bandits hideout. They not only manage to find the hideout, but also destroy it, saving many missing children that were captured by the bandits. Pang Yong lets Wang Sheng return the children to their homes so that the people of Taiyuan would have a better impression of Wang Sheng.

Unwilling to ruin Pang Yong and Peirong' relationship, Wang Sheng decides to divorce Peirong before leaving Taiyuan. Linlin, Peirong's friend is happy that Wang Sheng has divorced Peirong, thinking that she has a chance. She has no idea that Peirong has started to like Wang Sheng. Both girls dash out when thy learn that Wang Sheng has left to fight the bandits.

After an intense confrontation, Wang Sheng decided to stay. wang Sheng tells Peirong that he has no feelings for Linlin. While Peirong convinces herself taht she is not in love with Wang Sheng.

Mong-ryong sneers at Chun-hyang for not getting her driver's license, and in turn Chun-hyang refuses to help Mong-ryong convince his father to let him have the car.

Chun-hyang overhears that Mong-ryong's mother is objecting to the marriage, claiming that Chun-hyang and her mother agreed to the marriage because they needed money for her studies. Upset with the remark, Chun-hyang tell Mong-ryong's father that she will pay for her own education hence forth.

Mong-ryong goes shopping with Chun-hyang and she sees a pair of leather shoes that she likes, but cannot afford to bear. Back home, when she sees the same pair of shoes in Mong-ryong 's room, she assumes that he has bought them for her. Thus, she convinces Mong-ryong's father to let Mong-ryong use the car.

When Mong-ryon drives Chun-hyang and her friends to Seoul, Chun-hyang is disappointed when Mong-ryong goes her a pair of sports shoes instead of the leather shoes, which he has given to Chae-rin.

Hak-do sees Chun-hyang shivering in the colder while waiting for Mong-ryong to pick her up. He lets her wait in his car, and even plays games with her to pass the time. Mong-ryong see them and is jealous.

Back home, Chun-hyang discovers that her mother has left after losing all her money in a bogus investment scheme. As a results, Chun-hyang faces difficulties in paying her school fees. she wants to ask Mong-ryong for help, but cannot bring herself to do so.

Hak-do invites Chun-hyang and the others to go skiing. Chun-hyang is upset when Mong-ryong invites Chae-rin along. Next>>
