Nobuta wo Produce

Kiritani Shuji is a popular guy who gets along with everyone, from the jerks to the nerds to the just plain weird, and lives his school life day by day; treating it all as some sort of game. The only person Shuji cannot stand is Kusano Akira, whom he finds plain annoying due to his funny ways.

Things start to get interesting when a transfer student comes to school. Her name is Kotani Nobuko, a girl with a low self-esteem and is quite used to being made fun of and bullied in school. As circumstances would have it, both Shuji and Akira come to an agreement that in order to make use of their "youth" they will "produce" Nobuko as the next popular girl in school. One of the conditions, being that nobody should find out that they are working together as a team.

And it is here where the adventure and story of these 3 individuals start, where the story of true friendship between three unlikely candidates who would not have been friends if not given the special circumstances is unveiled.

It is during this period in medical school, Zhi Shu meets new rivals who wish to outdo him and Xiang Qin manages to make four new friends, with one of them liking her and wishes to replace Zhi Shu in her life. Though this wasn't as fun and entertaining as the prequel, it is worth the watch if you just want to know what happened to them after they got married. But if not, maybe you should give it a miss.

The island owner adds drugs into Cun Xi's drink and as a reesult he becomes disorientated and returns to his own room. Xin Yi and Cun Xi end up having a one night stand. Xin Yi later finds out that she's pregnant and Cun Xi's grandmother forces them to get married. Will a couple forced to marry for the sake of their unborn child find love with each other?

This is not your typical Taiwanese idol drama, there's a certain realism to it and it's pretty enjoyable to watch. There have been some outlandish moments, but since this is still running, i think it's worth the watch. What can I say? There's angst, sweet moments, happy ones and even a bit of ridiculousness. So far i like the way the storyline is heading...

Full House

Han Ji Eun, a naive, cheerful albeit, somewhat of a recluse writer, is swindled out of everything she owns - by her best friends! Stranded in China, she is determined to get home. She borrows money from an actor, Lee Young Jae, after coming up with a clever lie and plans to pay him back after landing in Korea, only to find that all which is precious to her has been sold.

Coincidentally, her home has been sold to Lee Young Jae and in an attempt to get her possessions back, she has entered in a contract marriage with Young Jae for one year. It was quite simple contact, until strong feelings start to develop between the both of them. As the people around them start to "test" the "love" Young Jae and Ji Eun have for one another. No matter, Ji Eun manages to be humorous and endearing - even when her heart is breaking.

This is story about love and heartbreak, sadness and self-preservation, but towards the end it has it sweet and funny moments.

This show has a very centric plot around the main characters. You hardly get to see any other new characters in the show, even if there are they don't stay long enough to make an impression. So in a way it can be boring just watching the interaction of 4 people most if the time. But if you can overlook that bit, it is a pretty sweet drama series with a tinge of funniness to it.
